"Great location- check in kid was a bit dopey and didn’t know anything about the parking situation across the street otherwise a nice hotel. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30 so if you’re looking for an early start this might be at bit inconvenient as everywhere else we stayed in Ireland started at 7:00. Would recommend to stay here again "

"Been here a few times now. Always a nice experience. There is free parking behind the hotel. I was a bit early but my room was ready so i checked in. Very nice lady on the desk. Room was compact but nice and clean. I didnt eat in the restaurant this time. Breakfast was very nice. Check out was quick and easy. This is my go to hotel in Roscommon."

"The owner of the B&B greeted us warmly at the door, showed us to our room, which was nice, clean and comfortable. She let us know what amenities were available to us, and showed us where they were. Breakfast was excellent, and the full Irish experience. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone staying in the Dublin area."

"Our stay at the Horse & the Hound was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The food served in the restaurant was exceptional, and the room was clean, comfortable, & quiet. We especially appreciated Alan at the pub who made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. He recommended wonderful area sites and cafes and invited us to hear live Irish music in the pub the first night we were there.
