"We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. "What a great find. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Cabins and it was prefect. Cabin had all the amenities one would for their stay. There is a wonderful restaurant, The Sprig, on property and the food was outstanding. Within a very short walk we found The Coffee Bothy which is a great place to grab coffee and breakfast. "

Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!"

"Very nice location in the middle of the Highlands. Be aware that like most of the Highlands, there is not much in terms of places to eat. The hotel sent me an email asking if we wanted reservations for breakfast and dinner, but did not specify the hours of operation. I asked them via email, they did not respond. Like most places here, old buildings do not have elevators/lifts."
