Photos were very deceiving. Room is very old and dusty. Bathroom was horrible (dirty grout. Clogged drainage, stains in the toilet). But location is nice. Only a few minutes walk from Interlarken West. Staff were very friendly. Proper luggage storage room and didn’t make a fuss when we left our luggages for the whole day.

If you want a dirty room that reeks of a fryer, this is the place for you! I’ve never stayed in such a terrible hotel before. We left in the middle of the night because sleeping in the car sounded cleaner. They also refused to do anything about it or offer a refund, so save your money and go somewhere else. Trust me I wish I spent the $20 more to stay in an actual hotel.

We really don't understand where the problem is. After you checked in you did not come over to the front desk to complain about any issues with the room. And the front desk worked until 3am and didn’t see you leaving.It seems unreasonable to ask the hotel to give you a free refund after staying for one night.

Our room was about 20ft from a 26 ton crane and construction site. They started at 7am and banged until 7pm. The indian restaurant below's cooking smells, which smelled great, none tge less were every breath. You could close the window but then the room got warm. The construction noise was the real problem though.

Definitely not a good experiencie
My wife and I stayed in Swiss for 10 days. This hotel was, by far, the worst part of the trip. Beginning by its name, Toscana, you may think it’s Italian style, but it’s not. When arriving, our room had a terrible smell from the restaurant below. The cleaning was bad: mold in the bathroom and spiderwebs in the room. And, the noise was awful. Apparently the were running a construction right next to our window’s room and the noise during the morning was very high. When complaining about this in the morning to the front desk staff (who struggled a bit with English), we suggested to move us to another room, which they did not have available, or allow us to check out one day early and refund the remaining time we already had payed. They informed us that the owners were not available, that they would not be until 2pm, and that they had no way to solve the issue or contact the owners. We could not be waiting because we had other plans to enjoy the city and nearby. So, unfortunately, we faced one more night in the hotel with the issues. Definitely not a good experience.

Don’t stay here. Everything was bad…thank goodness we were here only one night. No wonder they make you pay up front. Rooms were not in good condition, towels were small and like sandpaper.

Description in Hotels.com is misleading. Hotel is not in as great and updated condition as it’s stated. Room service needs face lift to actually clean floors and change linen. Room and bathroom are not as lit and spacious as shown in images. Hotel os definitely older then states

This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I wouldn’t even give this a 2 star motel rating. Extremely poorly maintained, the rooms were not clean nor were they cleaned during our stay. Sheets had holes in them, bugs in the room, mold in the bathrooms. I had to complain to the desk multiple time with pictures for reference. This was just unacceptable and extremely misleading based on the Expedia rating.

We’re traveling as college students and were looking for something a bit more private than a hostel, so this was the perfect place for our budget and location. Ended up being a great central spot off of a park/next to bus stop/super super walkable to most things! Also probably the one place in Interlaken with AC so that was a lifesaver! Thank you!

Excellent location in Interlaken, room was comfortable but they did not cleaned the room during a 6 day stay. Everyday we came back after our day trips we wiil find new towels and empty trash cans but they wiil not sweep or mop the floors. So any garbage on the floor was always there when we came back. Dissapointing !!

For an American traveler this property was very friendly and easy to understand. It was in a convenient location for food options and shopping. Also a short walk to the nearest train stations. Wifi worked good and the bed was comfortable.

Not a nice place to stay and absolutely not worth the money. This is why they ask you to pay in full in advance. Also a construction site right out side that will wake you up at 7am just from the trucks and equipment moving around. 8am drilling and very loud noises start.

This property is not what is advertised. Way over-priced! The front does not look like the lovely photo in the listing. There is no front entrance without walking through two restaurants. The was no A/C and with all the construction going on, you can't open the window. Don't stay here in the summer! The shower had no water pressure and the temperature was constantly changing. Find another hotel.

Positive point are: very convenient location, coffee machine in the lobby and friendly staff. However, terrible mattress and bed linen. There is no A/C, during summer gets very hot. Open window and turning on fan does not offer much help. From open window lots of noise. Hotel entrance is between two Indian restaurants and is not easily visible.

The bathroom in first room we stayed was moldy. Second room was better the value we got was nowhere close to price we paid, pretty basic motel type feel if you are coming from North America. We were forced to pay 2 weeks prior even though it was not clarified by Expedia when we booked. Hotel threatened to cancel reservation if we didn't pay 2 weeks in advance and Expedia wasn't helpful at all too!

When I went to check-in there was only one lady at the counter. I told her I was here to check in and she walked away without saying a word. No one appeared for several minutes. There was another man talking to someone about business (I believe) after waiting about five minutes, I yelled at him, and he cut short his conversation ans asked me why I was there. He was helpful at that point.

Unpleasant stay., not happy. The property is very old , hallway smells bad. The bedsheet, comforters and pillow cases are heavy used some many time. It's a waste.of money, we paid $260 per night, it's not worth for that price. I don't know why expedia listed this one, i would recommend expedia to remove from the list.

Absolutely filthy. Chairs with green moldy stains. Black mold in the shower. Sticky floors with hair and dirt everywhere. Beds only had bottom sheet and duvets. Towels were grey with holes in them. Window shades didn’t work. No air conditioning. If there was a rating less than zero I’d give it. AND super expensive.
