In the mountains but very close to Innsbruck
Great stay with beautiful views about a 15 minute drive to Innsbruck center. It was nice to be in the mountains away from the crowds!

Really cute area and spacious room. It was clean, and the view over the neighbour's house towards the mountain was nice. No coffee maker or amenities in the room. Breakfast is really expensive and the manager/owner is quite abrupt. Even a cup of coffee is incredibly expensive, makes it worthwhile to drive into the little town and get a good cup of coffee for less.

Incredible location, amazing hosts
As said in the title, the location is amazing. The hotel is lovely, the beds very comfortable and everyone at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to friends. The ski rental shop in Igls village are very helpful and friendly too. 2 restaurants in the village (Agidihof and the pizzeria) were both delicious, and I'd also recommend them too (but you need to book both in advance for supper). The free ski bus leaves from outside the tourist office at 9:30 - you just need to let someone in the hotel know before 5pm to book it for you. The bobsleigh track is a 40 minute walk through the woods, or a 10 minute bus ride away. Everything about this hotel and village is lovely, and I would definitely stay here again.

Little gem nestled in the Alps!
Picture perfect hotel front in spectacular surroundings - mountains at every turn! Only 10 minute bus journey up the hill to the lovely village of Igls from Innsbruck, so ideal if you want the real Alp experience (buses are frequent, every 10-15 mins and free with the 'Innsbruck card' which we found was fabulous). Plenty of delicious eateries to try around Igls, and right at the bottom of the Patschelkof cable car. Service upon arrival was great, breakfast was superb too. Room wise, very cosy but do not expect 5-star! View from the balcony was spectacular. And do yourself a favour and use the fresh milk/bread vending machine!!

Small hotel with beautiful mountain views
This was a lovely hotel at the end of a no through road which meant it was very peaceful and quiet, but it was very convenient for the village centre and the buses. Our bedroom was spacious with a balcony and lovely views over the meadows to the mountains. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and ready to give any help if we needed it. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. We liked it here very much.

Traditional style and clean
The place was a bit far from Innsbruck but was such a nice place we would recommend it. Everyone was very nice. The room was decorated very traditional and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was good as well.

Nice hotel in the outskirts of Innsbruck.
Met our daughter and her husband in Innsbruck and rented two rooms for one night at the Sonnenhof in Igls a suburb of Innsbruck. The staff was attentive and gave us directions to town via bus. The bus ride was short (about 10 to 15 minutes) and it was easy to get to the walking street in Innsbruck. The rooms were cozy, one a little larger than the other. There was free parking, but the hotel is only really accessible if traveling by car. We did not have breakfast, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet with a nice view of the mountains and easy access to the Brenner freeway.

Very nice hotel 10 minutes from city center
Nice hotel, very clean and excellent staff. Enjoyed being in this quiet village just outside the city center of Innsbruck. Excellent and easy bus service to the city.

Lovely hotel in a great location
This is a perfect Tyrollean hotel in Igls village, which is in turn a great location for exploring the Tyrol. The rooms were comfortable and pleasantly decorated, the breakfast good and the staff (all family I think) very helpful. From Igls there are many pleasant walks of all levels of difficulty. One of the best is to go up the Patscherkofelbahn (cable car) to the summit of the mountain, then walk about 7km to the Glungezer chairlift, where a bus takes you back to Igls. Also from Igls, you can catch the Linie 6 tram into Innsbruck - this is a delightful ride winding its way through the woods

Great Hotel/B&B near Innsbruck, Austria!
We could not have had a better experience! Hotel is situated in the beautiful small town of Igls. Views were absolutely gorgeous! The owners were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The room we had was clean, spacious and had a wonderful deck. My son and I travelled Germany, Austria and Italy for 9 days and we both agreed that our favorite place to stay was Hotel Sonnenhof. My wife and I (and hopefully my 3 children) hope to visit Europe next year. There is no doubt that we will stay at Sonnenhof again!

Very nce with a few exceptions
We had a superior double and it was huge and very comfortable with the exception of no AC. I think this is common in most of the the guest houses. If you want AC you probably need to stay in one of the big hotels. It would have been needed very little as there was usually a breeze with the door to the porch open. A fan would have been nice for the hot days. We slept with the door to the porch open every night. The bus into Innsbruck is VERY convenient but having a car to go to the small surrounding towns is optimal. Internet was weak or would disconnect. Unpredictable Rooms were very clean and well kept. Older man doesn't speak English and can seem aloof because of that. (I feel guilty for not knowing his language!) We enjoyed clear sunny weather every day of the 5 we were there in spite of the fact that the forecast said rain every day!

Sleepy village outside of Innsbruck
If you're looking for somewhere quiet to relax while visiting Innsbruck this hotel would be very good for that. The location is at the end of a small quiet street. Getting there can be a bit tricky if you're relying on bus or taxi. There are nice cafe's and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There is also a pharmacy and grocery store around the corner.

Good location, Okay-ish hotel.
Hotel is located 6km outside Innsbruck in the village of Igls. A high frequency bus connects this place to Innsbruck city center so connectivity is not an issue. Hotel itself has a fantastic view of the alps. However, the room was old, was not the cleanest, and amenities provided were poor. Towels and shower curtains were very old and front desk service in terms of guidance/service was also poor. Overall, this place is definitely not a 3-star hotel in my books.

Wonderful B&B.
I couldn't have asked for better. The family were so welcoming and friendly, and gave me the information I needed to make full use of what Innsbruck has to offer. Excellent location, walking distance from the Patcherkofelbahnen, and with the Innsbruck card, travel into the city was free on the IVB 'J' bus (10 minutes) and the scenic tram route (20 mins).

Quaint hotel, would stay again.
Went in winter. Free ski shuttle to glacier due to lack of snow in Igls which was good. Very nice family who runs this hotel. We stayed in standard room, it was spacious and had mountain views. Nice little town and short 10min bus ride to Innsbruck.

We rode bus into Innsbruck, which was a lot easier than having to drive in and find parking. Breakfast was a gigantic diappointment for what we charged. The good thing was he was good at English

Would recommend for a stop over. Really lovely town but be warned that everything closes up early. We could not find anything but one pizzeria still serving at 10. Hotel was very clean, owners nice. Breakfast not worth the extra cost.

Great home away from home
Familie Hofbauer really made us feel welcome- definitely the best part of staying there. The pension was very close to the bus route with made getting around very easy. Igs is a very pretty town and was fun to explore. I would certainly stay here again.

Good value for the great location
If you want a cheap place to stay while skiing this is very good. Easy 10min bus trip to patsherkof ski runs. Good breakfast , worth the 8 euros. Nice views and very spacious room. Slight annoyance with wifi constantly dropping out and the double bed being two singles that separate, Leaving a gap. While there is a gym, it is very basic. Mainly a treadmill and bike. No weights etc. It is run by a family and the younger of the two guys that looked after us was fantastic, always chatting, making coffees etc.

Lovely and relaxing
Its 20 minutes by bus to the heart of Innsbruck but if you want to feel isolated in a good way then this b&b was perfect, the town it's in has everything you need, and the local bus comes regularly to Innsbruck. I imagine in winter its the perfect place to get to the slopes, but we stayed in autum and it was very relaxing. The b&b is very clean and cosy.

Perfect place to stay when visting Innsbruck
This is one of my most favorite Bed & Breakfast when visting Europe. The B&B is located about 10 minutes from Innsbruck in Igls up in the mountains. Two different Olympic Games have been held in Innsbruck with the skiing events held in Igls. The B&B is in a great location in Igls, not right in the middle of the town, but only about a 5 minute walk. The B&B is in excellent shape and is always well maintained. The owners are always pleasant and always accomodating along with speaking english. The views are magnificant both during winter and summer. If you choose to ski here, the slopes are great. There are plenty of restaurants and stores in the town. When possible, I always try to make a point and go to Igls on my trips to Europe and always stay at this B&B. I highly recommend Innsbruck and especially Igls when visting Europe and highly recommend this B&B.

가격대비 아주 좋았어요. 특히 리셉션에 계시는 분이 아주 친절하셔서 좋았습니다. 미니 발코니가 있어서 창 밖의 경치가 좋습니다. 방음이 다소 안되는 점이 아쉽지만 가격을 고려했을때 이해 가능한 수준이라고 생각합니다. 10/10
