The hotel was older but well maintained. It looks exactly how it does in the online photos. The rooms were super clean and big. It’s 2 stories but there isn’t an elevator, which was fine for us but keep that in mind if you can’t do stairs or in a wheelchair. The staff was so polite. No nearby restaurants except a Papa John’s next door at the gas station, which was also well kept and clean and a 1 minute walk from hotel. My only issue was the free breakfast. Only served coffee to drink. They had individual wrapped donuts and waffles that you cook in a little pop up toaster. Cereal or some fresh fruit would have been a nice touch. It was a nice experience. The little town has great history. If you have kids that need breakfast then I would not suggest this place but for a nice clean place to sleep it’s a good place. The microwave and fridge are good size. Fridge has plenty to of room for milk, juice etc and lots of storage and counter space. No vending machines at all.

I apologize for your disappointments. Some of our rooms do not have a flatscreen television sets. And all of our rooms do not have fridge microwaves. I do apologize for any inconvenience.

There was a bulb out in one of the lamps. My room was clean, and the entire motel looked spotless. A Papa Johns is a short walk away. Was surprised to see an old type TV but it worked OK. No noise at night.

I was in town for a quick overnight & traveling with two pups… I was running the Hatfield McCoy marathon in Williamson, WV. Thelma and Carissa (forgive me if spelled wrong)… are absolutely wonderful!! They made the check-in, the over night stay and the check-out easy, comfortable and so accommodating. They were so pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect for my one night. And also easy for my two pups. The gas station with a Papa John’s Pizza location inside was the easiest walk over, convenience at its best. I will definitely return to this location if/when I decide to pass through the area again. I absolutely recommend this hotel!!

Very clean room and comfortable beds. My only complaint is that the shower head had to be replaced which my husband did as there was no maintanence staff on the weekend. Even after it was changed the water pressure was weak.

Nice hotel
We stayed for one night. We had a king suite and the room was nice, clean and spacious. It's difficult to find a bed at a hotel that doesn't hurt my back, but this one was more comfortable then some of the other hotels we've stayed at. Would definitely book again!

The power was out, due to a storm, when we arrived. The staff tried to make us welcome & as comfortable as possible. We have stayed here many, many times since they have opened and found the staff very friendly and the rooms clean. The hotel is begining to show its age and needs to be upgraded.

A Fine Stay for A Night
Our stay here was okay. The main things that were dissatisfying was the carpet was not vacuumed properly, the room smelled very musty, one of the bathroom lights did not turn on, the water took a long time to even warm up and that was on the hottest setting, and lastly the mini fridge kept making an awfully loud noise. The bed was comfortable and seemed to be clean. For just one night, it was a fine stay. Just needs a little more touches to make it a great stay.

I always love staying here because normally the rooms are immaculately clean. But, the last time me and my husband stayed here the room wasn't as clean as it normally is. There was crushed up cookies all in the floor, under the bedside that was there from the previous guests. We will stay there again.

Old and rundown. Wallpaper peeling, cracks in ceiling. Continental breakfast consisted of packaged donuts and little Debbie snack cakes. Owner needs to invest a little money in updating. Definitely not worth the money.
