It was my 5th time that I stayed at this property. I like it since it is much cheaper than other property in Barbados. The only minor thing I disliked this time was the cleanliness of my toilet seat which contained some permanent yellow stains - I didn't like it and would therefore suggest they should replace it.

Property was surely not worth the rate. There were no amenities, no handle towels, iron, hairdryer, no phone to contact reception if needed. The building was unkept and had cockroaches. There were no places for food or to dine in close proximity.

Dear Wendy ,Thank you for choosing Ocean Spray Apartments, we are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations.Please note, we have all the amenities we offer listed under amenities and that list does not include the ones you have mentioned. However, irons and hair dryers can be requested at the front desk. There are places in close proximity to dine.Our cafe offers breakfast daily from 7:30am to 10:30am and there are two dining options with in 5 minutes' walk of the property for lunch and dinner. There is Buffy's Bar(Xpress bites ) and the Blue Bar & Restaurant.Guest satisfaction is very important to us, and we are available at the front desk to assist with all guests' queries.

The property could do away with the dated kitchen and bathroom as it takes away the expected excitement of a beach resort. The location is splendid for those who prefer the quieter space and it worked well for us. Easy access to local transport, shops but no eatery. The locals are helpful but they won’t offer until to ask.

Old side of the building. Cold water to shower. Air conditioner leaking water on the floor very unsafe. Bathrooms old and dirty. Living room furniture old and uncomfortable. Open slats window in living room which means no privacy for our speech.

Mariam at the reception was very nice to show the apartment. The property was clean and had no insects. One thing the property should work on is the internet connection since in one of the rooms the connection was not strong.

The reason to visit here is because of the view, waves and trade winds. We loved the crashing of the waves. Overall it was a good stay. They did not have wash cloths. Bring your own. Also, they need more soap. Somewhat dated. Breakfast was good.

3 star hotel norms should be maintained properly. We found cleanliness issues in room. There’s no mat, napkins in the room. Bees are flying in the apartment’s cafeteria. Room cleaning service is not daily. Good things are surroundings is amazing and safe. No Transportation problem though distance is very far from most of the tourist attractions.

Ensure you come in with food and water. There are no ammenities on compound or nearby. Stayed over for my connecting flight and had to spend the night without drink. The rooms are fairly old-fashioned and need rennovation. Front-desk is friendly, and property is surrounded by a large wall. Not sure how safe surrounding environment is, but it feels isolated from the rest of the community.

I stayed at this property for two nights and three days. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a queen size bed and a garden view. Upon arrival at this property, I was surprised to see how dated it looked. The pictures on the Internet looked a little bit more vibrant than what I saw in person. Due to certain flight delays, I managed to get on an earlier flight to Barbados; therefore, I arrived much earlier than the check in time. Rochelle was at the front desk when I arrived and graciously allowed an early check in (1.5 hrs early). I was very happy about this as it was a laboring travel experience, and I was ready to get a shower and relax a bit before an event. Rochelle was friendly and professional. She answered our questions. She let us know that we can reach out at any time if we had any other questions or concerns, and she escorted us to the location of our room. The apartments are not bad and served their purpose but they are pretty dated and do not include some of the standard items you would expect in a regular hotel. The room had towels but no washcloths. There was a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator but no microwave. There are also no phones in the room. There is an okay view from the balcony. It is called a garden view. You can also see the ocean in the distance. As already mentioned, my overall stay was good as this property served its purpose; however, some renovations are needed to bring it up to par to standard accommodations.

Gorgeous views. However, the sheets were stained and I just didn’t feel clean. I slept in my clothes. Also, there is no warm or hot water which sucks when you want to wash away the days troubles. I loved the doors to the patio, however French doors would be more stunning. Lastly, because there isn’t much around as far as food is concerned so a little shop, convenient store, or something would be nice.

OK place to stay
Friendly staff, great restaurant about a block away. OK place to stay if you don't need a pool, but very hot and humid in Barbados! Fine if you need an inexpensive place to stay. No refunds after booking, so if you may need to cancel it is a gamble!
