“Overall”

Overall this hotel is a good place to stay close to the city centre.

“Comfortable city centre hotel”

Convenient city centre location, with secure car parking (entrance ramp might be difficult for larger car). Room seemed smaller and more basic than other Mercure hotels that I have stayed in - I would have been disappointed if I had paid full list price, but at the rate we got it was good value. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Lady serving breakfast was less so (There were no plates visible when we arrived, so went looking for them and got told off. When I explained what I wanted in my limited French, she said she could wash us two, giving the impression that this was a major favour. Obviously the €14 per person breakfast price didn’t include crockery.)
