I arrived at hotel at 12pm. Understand most hotel check in is 3pm as they need time to clean up the room . Hotel told me there are rooms ready but they need to charge me for the 3hrs of early check in. Not my first time staying here, it is really a disappointment. I told them I'm not going pay. Either let me check in at 12pm since there is a room , i shall not stay this hotel any more. Even the morning Taxi services is badlly done.

Hotel is fine and comfortable. Main downsides are bar not open in the evening and only a buffet breakfast available. I went to subway instead which was far cheaper for the small amount i wanted.

Decent place
Place is the best in the area however the dinner Buffett is lacking.. generally it’s warm not hot and the quality is mediocre. The rest of the hotel is good.

Room is available but charge to check in early
Standard check in is 3pm. I understand room need to be clean. As I had a overnight flight and hope to check in early but was told I need to 50% more . I rejected and they over 30%. As it is about 2-3 hours early only but they like to charge. It mean room is available just want to charge extra

I had a memorable experience at Shilla Stay Dongtan. The staff were very friendly and speaks fluent English. The location is perfectly located 15 from the majority of ocal attractions. I love the view of park from the hotel. I will only consider this hotel on it next visit to Dongtan

This was a fine hotel. I think this branch is much better than the Shilla Stay in Yeoksam. It's a lot cleaner too. The room condition was good, but the view of the park was beautiful, especially at dawn.

Great location close to Samsung Electronics. I've spent two months in this hotel, and expect to stay here again. Lots of restaurants and transportation options. Slow elevators. Breakfast staff do not replenish items that run out, at least not the items my wife likes.
