Wanderatay is well located for walking to the museums and there are a few decent local food and drink places but it is also very close to the freeway and has no A/C, which can make for a difficult night's sleep. Noting that free earbuds are provided.

Clean and quiet, I chose $10 parking for safe, tho. Don’t remember why but laundry room is locked…. Upstairs come with free coffee and tea, also a refrig and microwave. Love it

You get what you paid
1. They do not have a lock for the locker. Bring it yourself. 2. When I stayed, the room was too cold on the first night and too hot on the second night. You are not allowed to change the setting. Good luck! 3. It is clean and cheap. Hope you get good roommates!

The area seems a little sketchy, but the hostel was great! We had a family feud trivia night that was a lot of fun and bright everyone together :) Everyone there was super cool and the woman’s dorm was really comfortable. Super helpful to have 2 showers in there!

Excellent hostel!
I booked a private room with one twin bed and really enjoyed my stay. Great amenities, clean facilities, comfortable. Price was very affordable.

The hostel in at central area ,convenient for food and some activities. However, there are only 2 bathrooms for the entire hostel, toilet paper was not provided enough for a day. There are cameras everywhere, so feel like being always watched.

Hello- we actually have 5 bathrooms onsite- not 2.Also, our housekeeping refills TP every single day, twice a day. Lastly, our guests love how safe they are while staying with us and we'll continue to keep safety a #1 priority.All the best.

The area is fine with some really nice places nearby to eat. Hostel is what you expect. Customer service is exceptionally poor, issues have been raised to management so will not post here, I am sure they will eventually bother respond to my email (highly unlikely though)

Excellent place. Super duper clean, large beds, in a very uber able/walk able area. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very cozy and quaint and the price per night was a steal!

Love This Hostel
The hostel experience here far outweighed my other hostel experiences! No in-person contact, FULL size beds, great kitchen!

I was disappointed that my room had no furniture, the curtain let all the light from the streetlights in, next to the freeway with no sound proofing. Got up in the night to use the bathroom and the side door was propped open. Did not feel safe in that area. Wouldn't recommend ths place to anyone. Bed was not comfortable and small. Common areas furniture was really dirty, no where to get a drink of water other then the bathroom.

Horrible service
I am very unhappy they did not allow me to check in after hours. They had a sign saying to call a number to check in no one answered. I had to drive back home in the middle of the night because I could not stay they did not even open the door.

Alejandra, the front desk host at the time of my stay was super helpful. I am from California so she made my stay very helpful by providing tons of information like nearby transportation, nearby restaurant's, and banks. I truly appreciated the time and patience she provided for me. If I were to travel back to Texas, I would definitely come back to the Wanderstay. Thank you.
