I didn't like me & my family being singled out. I'll never go back for that reason alone. One particular employee messed it up for their property. I will tell everyone I know not to go there.

Good enough to just sleep
Not sure what to say. Poor colors, old furniture. Machine with water didn't work. Door to the next room right in front of the bad. Some smells of old things in the room.

The property was a bit outdated cleanliness wasn’t too bad. Staff answered all questions. Tv wasn’t working in the first but were switched to another room with a working TV. Chair in the room was broken.

Decent for price
It was a decent place for the price. The TV would not work and the receptionist could not fix it it was stuck on an HDMI and the remote had no way to change it back to cable. The bathroom smelled raw sewage but was livable with the fan running constantly. The sheets in the room seem cleaned enough. The staff were very nice

The property was recently bought by someone else and they're upgrading for their customers. I would stay here again.

THE OWNER THREATENED TO SUE ME AND IF I MESSED UP HIS ROOM HE WOULD KICK MY ASS....I ALSO WAS CHARGED AN EXTRA $170.15 FOR A DEPOSIT. THEY SAID I WOULD GET A REFUND BECAUSE THEY CHARGED ME IN ERROR BUT I HAVE NO REFUND TO THIS DAY......I WAS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY AND BECAUSE OF HOW I WAS DRESSED AND WAS VERBALLY ABUSED.....THEY HAVE CAMERAS IF YOU WISH TO VERIFY

They don’t offer smoking rooms even though they advertise it. Once you get there, they will tell you their isn’t one available, offer you a regular room and remind you there is a $250 dollar fee if you decide to smoke in room

Sorry sir you would have to book a smoking room or request one at the time of check in to receive a smoking room. The $250 is a cleaning fee for smoking in a non smoking room as we have to clean the room and remove the smoke for the next guest. As it seems you did smoke in a non smoking room and your card decline for the cleaning fee you are banned from this property from here on out. You will be denied service if you decide to rent a room from us.

The room served the purpose. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A bit outdated and rugs needed scrubbed. The surrounding area has plenty of shopping, restaurants, etc. Close to the beach.

Great budget hotel.
It’s a great budget hotel in La Porte. It was comfortable and quite. There wasn’t a ton of choice for breakfast but it was good. The laundry works great and isn’t too expensive and the front desk was able to give me change to use it.

The room was dirty. Spattered walls with what looked like food, things were still in frige and microwave, hair on the walls of the shower, urine on back of toilet seat, burners on small stove top rusted and dirty. Whats worse is they charge me an incidentle fee of 100 and charge 115.89 for the room. Only stayed because all other hotels were booked.
