It has to be roach infested cause why is it big and small roaches and it’s not a closed in hotel. Not the tree roaches either house roaches. I hope they can resolve the issue because they have great potential. They should start by pulling the carpet out

We stayed here for about 10 days waiting on our place to get ready. First few nights we stayed in 215 it was ok, but we decided we wanted to upgrade to a room with a stove to save money from eating out and that’s were we went wrong at! The microwave was like burnt and had a foul smell so we asked for another one as soon as I turned it on a roach had to come out from the back of it! I almost died not originally from Texas so we’re not use to roaches! Within 5 minutes I saw 3 roaches I couldn’t do it! I asked if we could get another room and they moved us 3 rooms down from 317 to 314 although the smell was kind of old I said let’s see cause they wasn’t going to give a refund that’s for sure. Needless to say here comes a roach just crawling up the wall I’m like ain’t no way! Woke up this morning to my daughter sitting in the middle of the bed because she couldn’t sleep cause she had to kill 2 roaches while I was sleep and didn’t want to wake me so she watched over our things until I woke up and we got the hell outta there!

The walls are paper thin. We could hear the music blasting from a room 3 or 4 doors from us. The people upstairs were running around and jumping, making the whole room vibrate. The room was alright. The walls needed some paint, and the curtains didn’t really close all the way. I had stayed here in the past and it was alright, but this time I didn’t have a pleasant visit.

Got the best night of sleep during my whole trip. Really nice staff! Tub could use anti-slip material/grab bar as it was slippery getting out of the tub.

Very home welcoming from the owner to the employees . The breakfast is served every morning and very overfilling. The rooms are very clean with no odd odor . I highly recommend this hotel and also it’s kid friendly.

My wife and I stayed at Palacio Royale Inn for 15 nights. There was two buildings. We stayed at the building of third floor. It looked as style of motel. We loved it. We parked at front of our room. The room was so clean and the breakfast was so good for us.

They have been saving my room for weeks for me to keep rebooking but as soon as the day came that the taxes doesn't have to be paid anymore at the 30 day mark they gave my room away. Any other time they called and verified I wanted to stay. Now I'm looking for somewhere to go all because they wanted to be greedy. Very poor experience for my baby and I.

I tried to leave a review explaining my problem with them and my review was flagged saying I'm not allowed to leave reviews with those details so now I have even more issues with Expedia because they do not want to fix the problem and clearly this problem happens all the time. External entry to property (Room 217) has significant sealing issues, leading to wind, external debris and weather entering room. Road noise is significant, interrupting sleep and preventing rest/enjoyment of the space. Room is well decorated and nicely arranged, but the need of a door seal (bottom and sides) makes the space difficult to enjoy.
