"The Zaza Hotel in the Houston Museum District is a classic. However, the room was smaller than average and overpriced compared to other hotels in the area. The property appears poorly maintained. The room was not properly cleaned, and the carpets in both the room and corridors were dirty. There were numerous scratches along the hallways and even in the elevators, suggesting they have not been repainted in years. The concrete flooring around the pool is also cracked. On a positive note, the reception staff was pleasant. However, valet parking is excessively expensive."
