The room is rather small, lack of chairs, and the double bed is made of two single beds pushed together. The facilities were clean and complementary bathroom supplies were good. However, the cleaner came to do the room at rather random times, from about 11 am to 5 pm.
The hotel is located off a busy road but that's good because its nice and quiet. We stayed on a higher floor but it was peaceful.
The room was very clean and there were enough pillows to make yourself comfortable.
The shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water. It was great after a day out walking.
The air purifier is a brilliant idea. Most of the time, you just need to have the air purifier and no air conditioning and it felts just as good.
I would stay here again.
Stayed there for a week. Staff is great. Room is clean. But there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the toilet every night probably due to the renovation happening next door.
We stayed here for 8 nights and had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
The location is great…one of the quieter parts of Hong Kong…but only a short walk or train ride away from great dining, shopping and sightseeing options.
Check-in was a breeze and our room was cleaned and re-stocked daily. The rooms are not very big, but provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very good value for money.
Highly recommend Eco Tree Hotel Causeway Bay if staying in Hong Kong!
There's nothing wrong about the place. Location is perfect for transport and everything. Tidiness and helpfulness of staff was great also. Room size is definitely bang for buck by local standards.
The only thing that really put us off was their last minute change in managerial decision to no longer accept temporary storage of luggage in between stays. As we were hoping to have left one large piece behind as it was not needed for an out of town trip in between the second leg of staying at the hotel a week later which ended up being a bit of a scramble to decide what to do with.
Most places we've stayed in the past does it. Pity they no longer offer the service. Maybe they will revise again, we won't know. Anyway, do take that into account when considering.
If it's not an matter to the travelling party. Then of course, highly recommended.
It’s very convenient for MTR, restaurants, groceries. If you need to have morning walk, it’s 5 minutes walk to the Victoria Park. The price is reasonable. The room is small if you book a 15m room.
The hotel is clean, tidy and is located at a convenient place that is near transportation and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There's a market and some grocery stores near the hotel so the street is rather messy and busy in the morning.
The carpet inside the room and the common area is rather old.
I stayed at this hotel 3 nights when I checked in late evening, the staff was not polite and had me to wait 4 others persons after me.
Room was clean but very bad interior design, my bed was 2 single beds placed together so there’s a gap in the middle deep down inside.
Also the wall between the end of the bed frame only 12” for me I am tall woman was not enough room to walk between.
Morning staffs are present and good manners though.
Anyway I will not consider to come back in the future.
The eco in eco tree is for economy. As a budget hotel it’s good. Dont have high expectations. Not the best. Not the worst. It’s good. Has some good restaurants beside it and handy laundry shops. If you are budget sensitive stay here. However, for a few more dollars you can find options that feel more premium.
It was very clean and our upgraded room was spacious and comfortable. It could do with more non-single use amenities such as shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel ti be called an Eco hotel. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay at a convenient location with helpful staff.
It is an OK hotel. The hotel is very close to the A11 airport bus stops (in and outbound) and the Tin Hau MTR. There are many restaurants nearby.
I stayed for 27 nights. I had a bed bug incident after a few nights. After reporting to the front desk, they moved me to another room. I assumed that they would do something in the original room for the new customers.
It's very convenient, clean and good sized room for its value and rating. Service can be improved by allowing customers to leave the luggage for short return trip back and stay at the hotel.

it was not 4 star hotel , I would say it was 3.5 star hotel , I would not go there again ,
Had 2 nights stay in eco tree hotel. Pretty good, clean and easy access. Only one day I found hairs in my new hand towel… would recommend if housekeeping can be more careful about this.
