The hotel is in a great location just 100m from an excellent village shopping area - a good selection of stores and fabulous bakery/coffee shop. Parking is easy and the junior suite spacious enough. However, the bathroom is in need of a refurbishment as there was mould around the bath and on the tiles. Not good. The courtyard area needs a clean up - leaves not cleared and several cigarette ends lying on the ground for the duration of our stay - it could be a great area, just need to keep the floor and furniture spotless! Staff are friendly except at check-in when one male receptionist was adamant that at 11am we were not allowed our room until 3pm and he was going to make us sit in reception. However a colleague of his stepped in and kindly gave us our room. Anna at reception was excellent - smiling, friendly, very service minded and a credit to the hotel - well done Anna, you do a great job and thank you! Food and the restaurant staff all great and the menu selection has the golden rule of a short menu but everything excellently cooked!

Personeel was heel vriendelijk. De kamer was een beetje oudbollig maar wel proper. Het 2 persoons bed was met twee aparte matrassen wat voor koppels minder aangenaam is. De deur van de badkamer ging niet volledig toe. Deze klikte niet in het slot..

On check in I was stood waiting 10 minutes as the receptionist was on the phone, never acknowledged I was there or asked for assistanceuntil she finished the call, poor customer service. Not a sole in the hotel at 7pm in the evening

Characterful and Quality Dutch Hotel.
I love staying at this hotel when coming to Amersfoort. Excellent value and the location is easy to reach from the train station. However, no longer a Bilderberg and with Fletcher there are no safes, Bathmats or individual bottled toiletries complimentary (these are very helpful for hand-luggage air passengers). Still for the price, it met all the necessary requirements of being clean, large spacious rooms that are quiet for sleep and with efficient and friendly staff. I still recommend the De Klepperman.

Wish we could stay longer!
Fletcher Hotel is a great place to stay, in a cute town. The breakfast is very good. The hotel has plenty of public spaces for visiting with friends and working on laptops. The fireplace is always lit and welcoming. The whole environment is bright, friendly, and comfortable

A little home from home!
I visit this hotel regularly for work. Thanks staff are amazing, the food is good and always some special surprise set dinner. Ben in the bar always makes me feel welcome! I love the hotel, but I wish they could update the rooms a little. They are clean however! The standard of this hotel is maintained by its staff and done well!

It was a very pleasant stay. I loved the central location of the hotel, walking distance to everywhere and in close proximity of chain stores. The service was outstanding. Ladies at the counter were extremely helpful. The room was comfortable. I would have loved to have a somewhat easier shower instead of having to climb in a rather high bath which can be rather slippery.

Central between Amsterdam and Apeldorm, a really lovely village atmosphere and comfortable hotel to stay. Really friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and free use of the spa in the evening.

Nice hotel and convenient to Amersfoort and Barneveld. Free parking. Good breakfast. Wifi was poor. Rooms comfortable. Understanding reception staff. Two problems - we requested and booked a room through Hotels.com for three adults but the Hotel wanted to charge extra for a camp bed, and Hotels.com advertised breakfast was included in the reservation but this was not stated on the printed confirmation sheet.

Overnight stay
Stayed one night en route Kiel - Hook van Holland. Pleasant reception, good sized ground floor room and although there was a huge party/disco going on, it was well soundproofed and no problem at all. We ate in the in house restaurant and the evenings 3 course set menu could not have been better. Breakfast was described as Continental but would put the 'Full English' to shame. We shall certainly stay again

Perfect launching point for hiking in the Veluwe
nice overnight weekend visit. Hiked, dinner out, wellness and shopped in Utrecht. The hotel is modern, conveniently located and the staff are extraordinarily kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the rooms, while rather small and compact, are well appointed and clean. The property is quiet and has a nice bar, restaurant, breakfast room and various sitting areas. The Wellness area/spa is only open for hotel guests from 6 pm onwards, and can reasonably handle 4 people at most. It's not really a spa hotel property and if more than 4 people want to use the sauna/spa facilities at a time, then that's a challenge. Otherwise, nice location, comfortable hotel, great breakfast and exceptional staff.

Very nice hotel we loved it!
We were with two small childrens (2+4 years old). Location was great! There are resturants, supermarket,ATM near by (4 minutes walking). Breakfast was lovely. Very big room, clean and comftorble beds. The one and only cons was that there is no aircondition and we were in August with 31 degrees.

Busisness stay.
Stayed here on business for 5 nights. Good hotel clean , friendly polite staff, comfy bed, good brekfast .Had a evening meal in the restaurant ,it was good food but a little pricey.... Only downside to my stay was the room, it was cold, i adjusted the radiator but it was located behind the curtains , and i beleive the heat went out the window?.

Was disappointed that I had booked a double room but when I arrived the room was a twin. I asked at reception could I have a double as that is what I booked and I was told there was none available. Not much to do in the local area. Restaurant in hotel was excellent.
