We stayed at the hotel as we went to a show on Saturday night. We had hired a car and the parking was free. Great location - our room overlooked the Derwent River. Would stay there again

The staff were great. Robin at front desk and Rahul doing house keeping were so helpfull they went over and above to help us. Would give them the employee of the month award . Will be staying here the next time we come to Hobart and will be recommending the hotel to every one, thanks again for our stay

Great stay! Lovely view! Only a couple of things for improvement. The lifts were not clean, with floor and walls needing attention. The floor for our room also had a strange odour.

Rooms were clean and modern. We stayed for 2 nights and room was not serviced, so no clean towels or replenished tea, sugar, coffee, had to ask for more at reception. Also phone did not work in room.

It was easy to get into town either by bus or taxi.Staff were very obliging by getting a tax I if there were none at the Casino rank. Rooms could do with a little thorough cleaning eg. found curtains to be quite dusty.

The only concern we had, was i asked them to put me in a room away from the elevator.... what did they do??? Put me right across from the elevator. Had people talking from 6:00am till late, very frustrating!

The eooms were clean and well equipped.the Motel side was old property and did not feel like a casino, it felt like just a nice motel. The breakfast was a bit of disappointment. For almost $30 /person you can get better food at any cafe. Need to up their game on food.

Excellent facilities, beautiful environment. Revolving restaurant experience was amazing. Hotel restaurants all excellent food and service. Hop on hop off bus made getting around easy. Beautiful views from most of the facility and in particular bay views. Issue with shower water pressure and only one lift available for whole hotel while they refurbished another one.

Aidan was superb checking us in. He was incredibly helpful. Josh was also very helpful and considerate. Josh’s boss seemed to be a bit challenged and not very helpful. I am not sure he understood the issue I raised with Josh, who was very supportive and intelligent. The room was lovely. Only suggestion is that there are more hooks to hang damp towels and bathers. It meant our towels couldn’t be reused as there was only one hook. The trout room service was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay particularly thanks to Aidan and Josh.

We had a great stay. The room is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The only downside is that currently one of the guest lifts is put of action and we had to wait a long time any time we needed the lift (02/2024)
