I only have 2 good things to say about this hotel. The free breakfast buffet that was included with your stay. The people cooking are very polite and punctual. The food tastes like home cook meal, which is a plus. The food is not your basic continental breakfast. They had sausages, eggs, some varieties of vegetables, pasta, and miso soup. Also Bread, coffee, and orange juice. And it is close to the subway.
The Room was small, but clean. The bathroom was cramped. Even for a short Asian like me, it was still pretty small. If your over 6 ft you will not fit. Some basic amenities like a safe was not included. Funny because there was a note in the room about thefts and suggesting to lock doors and to use the safe. My room did not have a safe. 2 pillows would have been nice. That should be standard no matter how many guess are staying.
The biggest drawback is the check in and check out time. Even though Orbitz stated 3 pm, the staff at the front desk said only after 4pm. And check out time is 10 am. Would have I stayed in this hotel if i have known all of these information? Most likely no, but if i have too its comfortable enough. I prefer the early check in time, and late check out time. Safe is a plus when you are a foreigner with passports and valuables. I like the breakfast buffet. It was only a 2 minute walk to the subway. The price was reasonable, especially for a busy " Golden Week" in Japan. I would give it a 3.6, Orbitz rated it a 4.2, which was a little high.
