I really wanted to like this hotel. In theory, it has so much going for it. It is relatively new. It offers happy hour and breakfast. There is a public bath. It is close to public transportation. However, this hotel just falls short. Although breakfast was not crowded, the offerings on the buffet were few and seemed to always need to be replenished. According to the signage, both Japanese and Western style breakfast items would be offered. There were only Japanese offerings. The selection for Happy Hour drinks was varied and self-serve. If there were snacks offered, they were not obviously displayed. There was a rice cooker but rice for a happy hour snack seems odd. Rooms are clean but sparsely decorated. Besides breakfast, it is hard to pin point where the hotel fails, it just is lackluster.
