"This was our third stay at the Heathman Lodge. Our first two stays were wonderful, so when in need of a hotel in the Vancouver WA area we immediately booked the Heathman. Check-In was great, they even gave us a bottle of wine! But the next day we were away from our room most of the day and returned at night. There was no maid service! All our towels were used and left on floor where we had left them, trash wasn't emptied and bed wasn't made. I tried to call to the front desk, but room phone didn't work. Went down to front desk and was told we had to request maid service. I said why weren't we informed, and desk person said they should of told us at check-in. Check-In person did give me clean towels for the room. We then put on our swim suits and went to indoor pool and found it was closed for repairs. No one mentioned that as well."
