Nice, helpful staff from Reception to Housekeeping. I did enjoy staying here, but when I checked in, I was advised the room was ready. It became apparent that it wasn’t; basics like tea/coffee and toiletries had not been replaced from prior traveller. I also found some long black hair in between the mattresses, and it wasn’t mine. The hotel provides earplugs, which is good because there’s a noisy pub downstairs on the church side. Towels a good size. Has a heated towel rack that can be used to dry clothes you hand wash. No guest / self service laundry; just a paid laundry service but no price list supplied. Location is pretty good. Generous breakfast buffet.

Loved this property in terms of location, staff (front desk staff and bar tender Marcus especially). Location is perfect to see the sites of the city. Very safe and walkable. Loved the small side streets, park around Karnan Tower and the surrounding park with the views of the city and harbour. Only suggestion is attention to detail in the room (refilling the coffee station, removing a used glass and towel before check-in)

Upon check in, I asked receptionist where to park. She told me to first drive to garage 2 blocks away to ascertain availability, return to hotel to buy ticket to be placed on dashboard, then drive back to garage to park. When I asked for a second option in case first garage was full, she told me to park at the garage directly across from hotel for free which had at least 20 spaces available. Why didn’t she offer that first????

Relaxing weekend at Mollbergs hotel
Quite a large Junior suite I thought , tastefully appointed . The bathroom had a bath and separate walk-in shower . All in all a very good hotel

Alla hjärtans dags vistelse.

Charmiga Mollbergs!
Fantastiskt vackert och charmigt hotell. De har bevarat den äldre stilen och moderniserat det en aning. Trevlig bar med mycket goda drinkar. Servicen var inget annat än 10/10. Alla var så tillmötesgående och vänliga. De lyckas skapa det där lilla extra både i inredning och i service. Hit kommer vi igen!

En bra vistelse. Men lite småsaker som kan bli bättre. Badrummet var inte städat på väggarna, fläckar på sängkläderna. Inga stora tallrikar på frukosten, vilket gör att det blir mycket spring när man inte får med sig fler saker samtidigt. Saknade även en kaffemaskin, med cappuccino och latte.
