The door only had the door handle lock. The secondary lock was broken. The room needed some repairs but nothing that interfered with our comfort and no room smell.. Had a working microwave and refrigerator, great water pressure, and a great bed, pillows, bedding and fantastic air condition. The room was simple no phone, clock or a table but it was fine for 1 night stay. The staff showed us where our room was under the stairwell.

The lobby was shutdown, check-in handled at a walk up window with a sign stating No Refunds. Had already paid, so I stayed. Based on what I could see from the outside, I would not have stayed. Parking lot was pretty much empty all weekend. Found a roach on my last day.

We checked in at 11:30pm coming from New Jersey. The clerk was kinda rude but not the end of the world. The area is really crappy. The hotel is clearly old. If you need darkness to sleep this isn’t the place for you. Lots of light as soon as the sun came up or at least the direction our room was facing. Took a bath and the water was almost yellow and smelled like a jacuzzi. We just needed a place to crash so it did its duty but not great.

It was terrible. Other guest arguing and loud, routy. Couldn't sleep. Room had no clock, iron, ironing board. No security at the hotel.

Lack of bathing essentials over a three day period rude staff who wouldn’t give us any more than two towels for two people had to request that our room be cleaned and our beds be made. Also went to check in and room was already booked online and the staff at the front Wanted me to give him $100 or a credit card to put on file because he thought I smoked weed and also turned away another gentleman that was right behind me with the reason of no Rooms available when there wasn’t but three cars in the parking lot

It's ok for what you are paying, and it's ok for one night. However, the hairdryer wasn't working and also the main light switch wasn't working. It's a cheap solution, but maybe there are better solutions in the area.

The staff was very friendly, but our room was infested with bugs of all types. Rather than complain initially, my wife and I decided to clean the room. When we moved the furniture is where we drew the line. There was a MASSIVE amount of bugs both dead and alive and it was obvious that it had not been cleaned in quite some time. We vidioed the clean up and played it for the staff, who was apologetic but offered no service or help. We will NOT be staying here anymore.

We requested a non smoking room and were given a smoking room. Brought to the attention of the attendant and he did move us to non smoking. Was clean and fine for an overnight stay but would not stay more than a night. Lots of patches in the room as far as in the walls and doors. Adjacent property which looks to be a hotel with no marking seemed to have loitering and sketchy behaviour.

New upgrades to the rooms including fresh paint, new flooring, and beds. Staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. Rooms need coffee makers or access to a coffee bar. Very minor issue as the price for the hotel was very good.

Not bad for a basic room for a few hours or overnight. Not somewhere I would stay to relax. I was supposed to have a nonsmoking room but definitely smelled of cigarettes and even had an ashtray in the room.

Best inexpensive hotel in havelock
I was worried booking the least expensive hotel in Havelock and I was beyond surprised! The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and my room was very clean. Bathroom was on the newer side and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Stayed at another hotel in Havelock last week and paid $40 more and it wasn’t nearly as nice.

It's a basic, older motel but was updated. Tons of free parking, very well lit. It was very clean and they tend to rooms daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities included tv, mini fridge and microwave. Our room did not have a coffee pot but we were fine. Overall, if you are looking for a CLEAN, no frills, convenient, safe place to stay at reasonable prices, this is it.

Worth the money. Clean, cheap, quiet and safe.
Needed a cheap place to stay for an overnight visit. Drove Friday for a Saturday appointment. Havelock Inn and Suites was the 3rd cheapest option, but had higher ratings than the 2 cheaper choices. About what you would expect. Not too much around it. A nice open field across from it. Nothing sketchy feeling about the area. I drove a bit in either direction to get something to eat. Settled on a decent pizza place up the road in a strip mall. You checked in via an outdoor window, kind of like an old school movie ticket window. The attendant was friendly enough and quick in getting me checked in. There were only 3 or 4 other cars in the lot, so it was quiet. My room was on the second floor. The room was clean enough, the television worked, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Non smoking. I was near the road, and got a little truck noise, but not too bad, and i slept all night. Tnere was an ice machine that worked. Overall, worth the money. If i wanted a nicer place, im sure i could find one for 2 or 3 times the cost, but i really just needed a quiet, clean, safe place to sleep. Thats what i got.
