BAD SERVICE AT SEASONS SPORT AND SPA,HARTBEESPOORT
The place is beautiful, good security as well but i was disappointed by their service, 1st we waited for our dinner for 2hrs,arrived at the restaurant at 8pm from their spa since we had a booking and ate at 10pm and after going to the kitchen and the person who was serving us several times, i didn't even spend time with my partner at the restaurant because most of the time i was at the kitchen asking them about our food. The food was also cold...2nd after having our dinner we went to their reception to collect our room key, they directed us to our room, the room number which was written on the key holder (161) was nowhere to be found and after calling them they told us to check each and every door with our key if it can open, we spent 45mins checking those houses until we found it only written summer on the door not the room number written on the key holder. when we got inside we found out that there was no aircon, no Wi-Fi but on our booking we choose the room with aircon and Wi-Fi hence we paid for it. We had to go to the reception to raise our complaint around 11.30pm. We had to bath with cold water at that night. In the morning after checking out we then asked for the manager to inform her about the bad experience we had and she wrote all this on her book and promised to give feedback the following day on the 19th February 2024 on how they can compensate us but up to now she hasn't done that and it is 6 days now.

Seasons was lovely, however, our place was a premium villa. The toaster did not work, there were only 2 towels when we arrived and there were 2 adults and 3 kids. The fridge did not get very cold and the aircons leaked whenever on. The rain came in the door and the bathroom window when it stormed so that created more problems. Also the patio was not covered, so you could not braai if it was raining or just ait outside. Otherwise, couches were lovely and comfy, beds very comfy. Kids enjoyed the slides and we enjoyed the private pool

Best place to cater for the whole family.
The place has been revamped, a new beautiful restaurant is open. They have more activities to keep kids bysy and away from internet gadgets.

Stay at seasons resort and spa
We just had to ask for towels and toiletpaper everyday. Although the staff un the restaurant was friendly the service was very slow. The restaurant is way to small for the size of the resort. Although we know nothing can be done about loadshedding, the power was often off for long times out of loadshedding times. The staff were all very friendly except housekeeping.

Unfortunately Seasons had an electrical outage while we are there, however a candle and matches are just not going to cut it. There was zero provisions made for back up power. So we decided to leave and find alternative accommodation 3 hours after check in. Calling the hotel the next day to see if they could refund any portion and was met with a very stern no, even though they didn’t provide 10% of the service that we paid for. In any event, the room needs TLC and a bit of cleaning. Has lots of potential, but expectations should not be high as it is quite disappointing.

We were in SEAF 2 which is an older unit. The unit was a 3 bed and 2 bath with decent space and a pool outside. The geyser and the aircon plugs were down on the DB board and we only realised after not getting hot water for a while in the kitchen and the bathroom. The upstairs aircon couldn't be switched off on the unit which meant we had to switch off at the mains until maintenance came the next day. The fridge smelt badly and they sent a cleaner but alas it seems the issue was deeper. After another call the maintenance crew arrived and realised the issue was bad. They returned to clean the run out pipe at the back. It didn't work so they eventually returned with a smaller fridge and a visit from what I assume was a maintenance manager who apologised and let us know that he has asked the team for a second fridge since this one was smaller. After about an hour we realised this new fridge wasn't getting cold we then called intermittently for a few hours we eventually got another fridge in the evening that seemed to be the one we had before just cleaned a lot more. It was incredibly frustrated but thankfully we were in good spirits and we enjoyed the pool and football facilities.

The venue is awesome, friendly staff at reception and spa. We had a problem with the shower but reception handled it very well. The only issue we had was when we got the the restaurant for dinner there was a birthday party which looked like a private function and the guests were not told in advance. The restaurant manager spoke to another couple to explain the situation and ask them if he can organize a table for them inside which they declined. He did not even try to speak to my husband and I which was very disappointing as we were standing in the cold. The rest of the staff was friendly though so we ended up ordering take aways at the restaurant. Overall stay was lovely. Will book seld catering next time.

We took two hours just for the receptionist to get our name and payment on the system, the towels were extremely dirty when we got to the room it was soo dirty and had smell we asked the security to get new sheets for us the bathroom was dirty even had dirty man underwear i was soo disgusted,but the restaurant food and service is good I was happy about it .

Our stay was ok. During our stay it was very cold, but the air-conditioners were not working. The hotel was aware of this as two days later the maintenance guy indicated that it was fixed and all sorted, to our dismay it was not. Our towels were also not replaced and when I asked the cleaning lady to replace them, she said she will see if she could get. She didnt replace any and i had to call reception to ask for towels, the lady only brought 2 big towels and 1 hand towel between 3 adults and 3 children. Very disappointing. This is definitely not a 4 star place. The house we stayed in was run down with quick fixes everywhere. The sliding door lock was broken and a hook placed as a quick fix. There are animals like deer and rabbits roaming around which is nice. It would be a great place in summer - if they maintained it better.

Terrible stay, there were drunk people banging on our door at midnight saying "house keeping, I work here.. you not gonna sleep until you open up" we were so terrified and couldn't sleep after. The stuff offered no help at all. The place is not safe at all. People must avoid this place like a plague

Terrible experience and front desk staff
Really nice place. Unfortunately our experience there was terrible. The rooms next to us were occupied by government type officials who drank and played music until way past 2 in the morning. The hotel staff were not on premise so i had to take it upon myself in the end to ask for some peace and quiet. The next day we checked our a day early after telling the staff about our experience who shows zero concern or caring towards the situation. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

A beautiful calm location with antelope, rabbits, ducks, and monkeys around. Lovely to bring the family as their loads of fun for children pools, kids playroom, jumping castles, kids pool and more. Wonderful place for parents and couples - Spa's, golf course and more. High recommended the place.

Family friendly resort near Johannesburg
We travelled to Seasons Sport and Spa for a weekend stay and it was just a short 1 hour drive from Johannesburg. We arrived at Seasons easily on main roads without being fatigued. Th check in and check out times are different to the normal, but if the resort can accommodate you they will. Whilst waiting for our room we utilized the water park which includes two slide areas with different slide features, about 5 different sized pools, putt putt, soccer astro, outdoor gym, jungle gym and sand pit. We were given the luxury lodge unit. It is designed in a way that allows flexibility of how many people occupy the units by closing off doors to the main kitchen/lounge. The unit was modern and stylish with beautiful accent pieces. The patio led onto a boma area (separate to the braai) and a jacuzzi/splash pool (seating around 6ppl) The kitchen was fully equipped with new appliances, cutlery and crockery. I was highly impressed with the attention to detail and thought that went into the needs of occupants such as doom spray, lanterns, candles, camping chairs. The resort is inhabited by different animals. Bucks walked freely right next to the private pool, and rabbits roaming the water park. We also saw ducks and a chimpanzee. The spa is also another bonus containing a few pools, jacuzzi’s, rasul chamber, steam room etc., which emits a feeling of total sernity and calmness. We would definitely recommend the resort to one and all! Its a real gem!

Great resort but no help with noisy neighbors
We only stayed one night and staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Our neighbors was already having a jolly time when we got to our unit with the music playing from their cars for the whole resort to hear. We unpacked and tried to ignore their music while we enjoyed our own stay until around 8 when they started to spin their car tires and we really couldn't ignore them anymore. I walked outside and there was 2 security guards looking at the party without doing anything. On asking them if this was allowed the said they cant do anything. We eventually phone reception to complain and they said that the people have been asked to leave the resort. I think the unit was overcrowded in any case as there where way to many people at the party for the allowed persons per unit but lets leave it at that. It eventually quieted down but as we were going to sleep the electricity went out and was still out the next morning so we couldn't make breakfast or coffee. We decided to leave early.

Went with my family and our stay was enjoyable. Friendly staff. Kids pools and indoor pools were nice. Additional pool side chair would be nice at apartments. One pool side chair was provided.

We had a great stay.. The accommodation was clean and very spacious.. The food at the restaurant was delicious..Our kids enjoyed the activities.. I will definetely recommend to my friends and family..
