"Beautiful hotel . Had no issues at all . Check in and out was seamless . Only problem I had was mirror was too high in bathroom to see as I’m 5 Ft 1 could only see top of my head .
Bottle bank was emptied early in morning and having window open it was very loud ."
"Lovely central hotel. Only a 5 minute walk into town. Great parking, you pay on arrival. It's £15 per night. Lovely clean rooms & great staff. Well worth a stay if you are in the area."
"Great stay at hotel as it a good base for sightseeing Harrogate and other places, short walk into Harrogate and buses run very frequently. Hotel windows could do with nets or blinds and the wind whistled all one night through the window vent. My mattress sagged a bit in the middle and had two lights not working on arrival. On the whole we were happy with our stay and would probably go back."
"Room clean , bathroom good. Towels good size.
Little short on plug sockets for modern day appliances such as phones, hair dryers, hair straighteners."
"The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming not a good selection of draught beers but some in bottles and wine and spirits. The evening food was expensive but good but the breakfast was really marvellous. Bedroom was clean and very comfortable with king size bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking is available but first come first served."
DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel and breakfast was very nice.
It was a small room which was to be expected
Strangely there was a step up to the bathroom and this had a glow in the dark sign that was annoying at night
A few little bits that could have been better. No plug near the desk to make tea had to use bedside table, door stop needed repairing in bathroom.
But all minor. The spa was a nice addition.
Nice location in Harrogate."
"The staff were in the main very friendly and helpful. The room was very old fashioned and in need of some refurbishment. There were only two sockets neither of which were close to the beds. The curtains didn't cover the window completely and they were very light. As a consequence I couldn't sleep beyond the very early morning due to the light. The bathroom was fine although the bath was very deep and high sided which made getting in and out to use the shower a little difficult. The main thing the room had going for it is that it was large with plenty of room in both the bedroom and bathroom. The room was very clean. We thought the food was excellent. In particular the breakfasts were outstanding. A big factor for us was the good amount of parking available at the hotel. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend it for value for money too."
"Lovely room though we had a problem with a leak from the upstairs shower. It was quickly sorted by the hotel manager. The staff seemed really friendly.
The hotels is a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and I would recommend"
