"This was a real find. We weren’t expecting it to be as nice as it was. Rooms are big and super clean and nicely decorated. The motel is from 1936 but you wouldn’t know it. The young girl who checked us in wasn’t very friendly but who knows what was going on in her life. Other than that everyone else was great, especially our waitress at breakfast. "

"It’s a nice hotel for short trip to JMU. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hallways need a bit upgrading. We have stayed here multiple times over the past 4 years. "

"We were given newly renovated room. Very nice. The hotel is two story motel where you park in front of rooms. Very expensive for a budget motel, but then again, it was JMU graduation weekend. "
