The area was pretty and close to where we needed to be. The room wasn't the worst I've ever stayed in. The floor was sticky (I was happy it wasn't carpet), and some of the appliances could use a good cleaning. It's somewhat dated—the lamps need to be updated. The sheets were cleaned but had old small stains on them. The bathroom was in good shape. The clerk was very friendly. Despite some of the room issues, I would stay there again.

This is a quaint mid 20th century old fashioned motel tucked away in the rolling hills of central west Georgia. Beautiful scenery here. Great people at the front desk.

Great place to stay
This was a quaint little motel close to Calloway Gardens which was great for us not to have to drive very far in the dark after seeing the lights. Staff was very nice and helpful. Clean and beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again

Surprising
Went down for a 1 day event @ Callaway Gardens. Perfect little spot down the road. Checked in received good service, room was clean smelled good. everything i needed for a one night stay. i would go back.

I had booked one night here for my aging parents because the place they had been staying did not have a room for Saturday night. When we showed up about 9:15 pm to drop them off, we did not even try to leave them there. The office was not open anyway, but the outside appearance of the place is NOTHING like the pictures show. $100 down the drain (my parents just stayed with us). My advice- drive to Lagrange if you can't find a room in Pine Mountain.

Hi Lynda,Sorry about your aging parents. Firstly, I'd like to detail our side of the issue. We tried to reach you multiple times on the given phone number but in vain. Next, our Manager had to wait only and only for the check in to Room: 106 / Kay Davidson till 11 PM. We were fully booked and had to sent away a couple of our privileged customers owing to full occupancy and room: 106 was on hold. The house keepers had no need to do that room next day as it was not occupied. Ironically enough, when you claim 100.00 down the drain, it was unfortunately our business that suffered .106.70 precisely. Finally, the card information you provided was not right and we humbly request our customers to be genuine while giving a review. We have earned a reputation having had years of hard and honest labor. We do respect it and expect our guests to reciprocate accordingly. Found smoking in front of the room. Manager politely informed that smoking was not allowed in room. Within an hour or so Mr. Baker(James) returned the key informing they had bad news, the lady's mother was in critical condition. The room in question is being rented regularly. No one ever had a complaint as such. Shall rectify the issue if exists. Thanks. Wish you well.

Great innkeeper. Rough property.
The keepers of this property are very nice. So, no comments from this point forward should be a reflection of how kind and considerate they were given that I wasn’t able to get to my room until close to midnight. I knew that this was going to be a bit of an older property. But it needs a lot of attention. The AC unit is very old and the air. It spewed was very smelly most of the night. The water smelled bad when I showered. The shower did not drain and collected water and, I checked before I left, and the water was still in the bottom of the tub. The furniture is rough and needs repair, the door to my room, and many others needs a coat of paint or two. it is simply a property that has fallen into disrepair. You should note that it is really in the middle of nowhere. If that is what you are looking for, great. But it is not close to Lagrange.

The location to where I needed to go was perfect. The heater in the room would not cut off at a desired temperature, so we had to cut it off and sleep in the cold. It just made too much noise to sleep. Other than that, it severed its purpose well.

First off the owners are the sweetest people&went out the way to help w/our issue. We arrived around 10pm & tv was not working. My husband informed the owner&he did his best to try get it working but no luck so the next morning we moved rooms. The rooms are cozy. Mini fridges did not really ever get cold. The bed in 104 was one of the most comfy beds we have ever slept on-room 105 not so much. We came for fantasy in lights at callaway&it was perfect location! Would def stay again!!!

Although this hotel is not a high rise. The owners are really nice. Quiet. Convenient to Poplar Place Horse Park. I do miss a continental breakfast but for the money i do recommend staying here. Definitely will keep coming back. And Mexican restaurant downtown is close and food good.

The property is just ok.. we had stained sheets and the office closed to get more but we used the throws to cover the beds… that was the worse I’ve never seen anything as such! I wasn’t looking for perfect but at least decent… hopefully Things get better

Beautiful, idyllic location and hometown feel. This is a place you come to let your hair down and put down pretenses and just rest and enjoy nature. It may not be the newest, hippest property with the most amenities, but it is a great stay at a really great rate. Relationship over franchise.
