Located on a main shopping street there was a lot of choice to eat. Easy access to Claudelands exhibition centre. Parking was very limited and incredibly tight. Comfortable room.

Pretty average. Beds are rock hard and the whole place seemed noisy. Requested a carpark when we booked but when we got there we were told to "just park in the outside carpark". The outside carpark was a shambles, tight parks and not alot of room to move. People were blocking each other in and backing into the rubbish bins to try get out. The location is great, but not sure we would stay here again.

Staff on arrival were really good and made the sign in all easy The room was okay there was a big of a funny smell in the room coming from the bathroom - mouldy drain smell Parking was very tight to get in to - not much room to get through gate or turn around to park Massage chairs didn’t work - put money In and they did nothing House keeping was good room was back to looking clean - still the same funny smell though On departing staff weren’t very friendly - was checking out and the guy didn’t say anything - just said okay Didn’t ask us how our stay was or any question about our stay which all hotels should ask

Very central, perfect location! Rooms are very small but completely fine when one is just sleeping a night so just need a bed and bathroom. The building is run down but clean. New carpet in all common areas will make a world of difference.

Parking was offered for an extra cost which is fine, but when arriving there’s not even a place to park up and check in, the hotel for the price was not great value and I’m typically easily pleased.

Got a free upgrade on arrival as there was something room with the room I booked. Place as a whole had a bit of a musty smell and felt a little run down but the room itself was perfectly fine. There is free parking onsite but it is first in first served and not a lot of car spaces - also a bit of Tetris to get a space!

Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Even travelling third world countries I’ve experienced better facilities than this. The room is tiny, barely enough space to walk around either side of the bed, for booking and paying for a “king room” one would assume there would be more space. The shower leaked water on all sides leaving the bathroom floor soaked and slippery. Questionable stains in toilet, unusable wardrobe due to strange smell. Zero soundproofing, a loud mini fridge and a heat pump rattling due to missing bolts meant that we had about an hour of sleep. Walking through the hotel corridors is like a maze and the location seems to attract an interesting mix of patrons (locals knocking on our door at 2am looking for “a party”) I never leave reviews but this one deserved some feedback, a waste of $220.

Was very noisy the night we stayed. 3.30am a large group of thugs were hanging around yelling etc. Police came and took a few away.

Staff were fabulously friendly and helpful, this unfortunately was contrasted by a venue in need of some tlc and thoughtful renovations. Only 3 spare power outlets in the room, none of which were near the beds. The rooms looked to be painted by Boris, the town drunk. The bathroom doorframe was roughly 1/3 beige and 2/3 white. The wallpaper looked like it had been installed in the seventies. Guest parking was haphazard, thirteen car spaces (give or take) in a courtyard in front of underground gated parking that is labelled "guest parking" but is somehow not available for guests. It was comfortable and did the job. The meals in the attatched restaurant were delicious and the staff were great. Until it came time for the breakfast buffet. Mass produced white bread was disappointing considering the previously ordered delicious sourdough. The quality of the cooked breakfast food seemed let down by the organisation of storage. Items meant to be crispy (roast potato, hash brown) were stored in partitioned bain maries with mushrooms and baked beans, resulting in soggy items that should have been crunchy.

Perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Room was clean and tidy. Very compact, especially the bathroom. No power points by the beds which isn't very convenient for phone charging overnight. Fridge is in the bottom of the wardrobe so can't hang up dresses etc. Person on reception when I arrived wasn't particularly welcoming. She did come up to the room later when I was having issues with the access card but actually could have told me the eccentricities of the handles when I first checked in and saved us both some time. Cleaning staff were friendlier than any of the reception staff. Location is great - very central with lots of restaurants etc handy.

It was fine for a quick overnight and was clean. It is very basic, no chair to sit on, no blow dryer and no cups to use in bathroom. Shampoo provided was combination body wash and shampoo. No conditioner. We didn’t use the shower so I can’t speak to that. Parking lot is very small and full when we arrived so we were left circling town for street parking. Limited amount of parking. No subsidy on off site parking. When you have been driving all day, and long distance and arrive tired and have a late check in, all you want is an easy check in with no problems about trying to find parking. I didn’t want to carry my luggage and work bag from across the street back to the hotel. Don’t think I’ll stay here again.

The hotel was starting to show signs of age, so a little run down, but still fine especially for the price. Area was very walkable - there's shops everywhere around you. Parking was a bit rough - there's limited room in the on-site free parking, and the lot is a tight squeeze. One night I got back late and had to overnight in a garage nearby which cost ~$8(US).

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and whilst the room and beds were comfy, we weren't happy with the bathroom which was up a high step up to walk in which was awkward especially at night, then an even bigger step to get in the shower. The shower door didn't open all the way as it banged onto the sink which made getting in and out difficult. We are pensioners and anyone less mobile would have had difficulty.

My parents was booked for two nights in a Studio 2 Queen beds room and check in was from 2pm, however they arrived around that time and had to wait because the room was not ready. Fair enough, must've have been short staffed, and so they left to grab some late lunch and do some shopping and went back to the hotel around 3:30-ish and still not been cleaned. At least they were able to drop off their bags to the room and wait. Also, there's limited parking spaces, which was already advertised - so, it good to pre-book your space. Unfortunately, my parents forgot to do so due to stressful check-in that they forgot to book and pay for parking on their first night - however, they booked and paid for the 2nd night. They did like their room and had a good rest from their travels, so overall an average experience. Maybe next time, if there is one, we will have a better experience.

The reception staff were not very helpful. Door card didn't work when we got there. Then door wouldn't lock, in hindsight we never got instructions on how to use it. No help with motel facilities. It is however, a lovely place to stay that was much more quiet then i thought it would be and really comfortable room!

Staff were awesome and made it so easy for us even though we checked in super late. Complimentary late check out also. Very convenient location also!

Desperately needs renovation and not what I expect from the ramada name. Parking very limited and topped with barbed wire. No p[arking at reception
