They had a band in the back of the property that played late into the evening at the restaurant at the back of the hotel. Asked for receipt when checking out and was refused to give one, saying I had to go thru Expedia, but I paid at the site, tried to get in touch with manager and he never called me back after asking twice. still haven't gotten a receipt for charges.

Smokey smell everywhere or greasy smell. Many signs of smoking fines , guess people will pay the fines. Had my coat on a chair in room and smelled like smoke the next day.

The property looks fine from the outside - it's a budget hotel chain. The manager was unable and/or unwilling to accept our booking made through Expedia and was furthermore unable or unwilling to either cancel the booking or adjust the booking - despite direct calls from Expedia and despite having room availability. Very strange and unpleasant experience. Thankful to Expedia for resolving the issue and finding us a beautiful hotel down the road for the same price.

Our hotel stay was excellent. The room was immaculate and everything was clean. The only thing we found that we found fault with is there was no coffee pot or microwave in the room. When we stayed before there was everything in the rooms plus it was dog-friendly. We wish that they didn't remove those things. The staff when we got there was very pleasant but the next person was apparently very unhappy. He never smiled or thanked us for choosing the Microtel. That's probably petty for some but important to us.

Terrible experience. Toilet got clogged and the front desk told us the hotel didn’t have a plunger and they couldn’t help, we had to go to the lobby to use the restroom for the rest of our stay. The fire alarm in the room started to chirp indicating it needed to be served and the chirping keep us up the final night. Do not stay here.

I paid $35 extra for a suite because it was pictured with a jacuzzi; but it didn't exist. They had the parking lot snowplowed in the wee hours of the morning, which woke us up. Pillows were flat/worn out; and the bed felt pretty small for a "queen." The place is clearly due for some upgrades; but they're the only game in town. I will say that despite all this, the staff was clearly doing their best to keep services like the bar/restaurant and (free) breakfast available despite a massive winter storm. I was really grateful for their efforts.

The Toyota dealership across the street at midnight and 3am, loud speaker went off someone must have drive through the parking lot and a super loud voice said the dealership is closed, please check back on Monday, woke me up twice, After hearing that, i felt i was in a sketchy area. Parking lot has commercial vehicles parked and gives it a non comfy visual. Grounds need work to make it more visually appealing. My bed was uncomfortable sharing with my wife, and we felt like we sunk to the center. Shower wall papper buckled and peeling. The breakfast which is a very cheap, thrown together bagels, premade waffles and pancakes. Save yourself and get cracker barrel for AM breakfast.all in all I was very quiet, exact for that loud speaker.

Booked a room for two. One tiny bar of soap, one tiny shampoo/conditioner. Two paper cups in the bathroom, two paper cups in the bedroom, non were covered with sanitary protection. No coffee maker, no info about hotel services, tv channels, local attractions. The room was clean and the bed was clean. That’s about all that was good about it!!!

Front desk young man had zero personality. He was there at 2:30 in afternoon and still there when we checked out around 8:30 in morning. Elevator made some horrible noises up and down, bananas from morning breakfast was black on table at 3;00 in afternoon. On 3rd floor our room floor squeaked in multiple places, ice maker didn’t work,no coffee maker in room,Toilet ran for 20 minutes, tryed to call down stairs to front desk, no answer, went down and the front desk person went back up with me to fix the toilet! Hot water for tea was so hot into paper cups, there was no sleeve to protect your hand. I poured some liquid out so I didn’t burn my fingers. I paid $120 with the taxes for the night. Forgot the wall of mirrors along the two beds, strange, also enjoyed the sinking mattress into middle of bed. Oh well I think that was plenty!
