The only reason I am giving it is 3 is because I was awaken a few times by people outside yelling and screaming at late night early morning. I went for a nice relaxing night and to get some good sleep but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Other than that it was a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel

Luxurious, amazing beds, beautiful finishes, friendly staff. Really lovely spot. It's a little pricey but if you want a special stay, this is it.

Not a bad hotel. Clean, well-appointed and in a good location. Not exactly a 5-star. Cramped lobby, smallish rooms are nothing special. Restaurant is a chain steakhouse; not what you’d expect for 5-star in Halifax

Location, location, location. Perfect location. Great value, beautiful room, friendly staff. Delicious restaurant on site. No free breakfast and not *many* amenities are a slight downside but since the hotel is located directly in the middle of downtown, the amenities surrounding the property are plentiful, and surely make up for parts that are lacking.

Very clean and high end hotel ,convenient location with tons of entertainment with in walking distance,valet parking was a great relief instead of looking for parking. Chop Steakhouse is the restaurant on site and its a must try. The only thing that we wish that the hotel had a swimming pool and a sauna as well ,other than that, we had a great experience.

I was not impressed that I could not park in the underground parking because of my studded tires. I was informed that it was in the info that I received but unfortunately I did not see. I found it odd as this particular hotel is in eastern Canada and many people have studded tires in the winter. Oh well, lesson learned

The reason for one star is the sink and bathroom were not cleaned. They were wiped down with dirty rags and smelled dirty and the sink was not draining properly so maybe that was the reason for the smell. It was too late in the night when we realized and then too late to change rooms. The rooftop was not open as advertised and the parking was not on site as advertised. Off site and far to walk. Ver inconvenient.
