The hotel did not recognize our booking. They said they don't have any tie-ups with Hotels.com, and when we mentioned Expedia, they said they don't have any bookings from Expedia either. Then we were sent to what seemed like a temporary room until they could confirm our booking, which they later came and cleaned up a bit (after we asked them to make the room). This definitely wasn't expected since we'd received a call from the hotel just after we made the booking, so they should obviously have had our booking information and had a room ready for us when we went there.
Apart from this, the room wasn't quite like in the pictures. Both the hotel, and the rooms are much smaller than in the Hotels.com pictures.
