This hotel has beautiful views over St Peter Port but that means a steep walk up a slope to get there. My single room was a good size, in the older part of the hotel and suffered a bit from noise from the restaurant terrace below my window and also noise drifting up from the pub in the street below on my last night. There was no aircon in my room so it was hot, and it would be nice if the hotel provided guests with a portable electric fan. I appreciated the two free bottles of water replenished daily.
The hot breakfast was very good, and lovely views from the restaurant in the morning, but continental selection a little basic.
The room could do with more plug sockets, as two were behind the bed, and another placed so that the hairdryer did not reach the mirror, which was slightly annoying.
Large bathroom with bath but no separate walk in shower, and in general the room could do with updating.
