It is better if the bathroom and bedroom are separated and there be a curtain in between. Besides, the carpet can be cleaned properly and there is room for improvement for the facilities, such as tv and air-conditioner.

Staff was nice but there is no full length mirror in the room making a bit inconvenient to dress up if you need to see an important client or going to a conference. As this is advertised as a business hotel so I guess this is essentially part of it. Breakfast also serves very late as 7:30 so me and my colleague basically had to skip breakfast a couple of days. Other than that a pleasant hotel for the price

The hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to a subway station. There are also a lot of good local restaurants near the hotel where one can find a meal for a reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious (not much of a view, though), and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, very helpfull staff
The hotel was clean, near to ouzhuang MRT, staff was great, they offer free shuttle to cantonfair, breakfast need to improve. Overall it was nice stay, we enjoyed out stay there, will be back again next time.

First time in China
after reading all the reviews and looking at the photos I booked a night at this hotel for my mother and i . The room we not as clean as i expected it to be. the bed and the covers were very clean and comfortable. the service at the front desk was horrible and they didn't speak much English so it was very hard to communicate with them. safe area with lots of shops and restaurant. Starbucks and McDonald are just few minutes walking distance. breakfast is not that great so i would recommend to go out to eat.

Hotel in good location let down by room condition
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over a weekend. The hotel is in a good location which was a short metro ride to most tourist sites. The closest metro station entrance was also just outside the hotel on the opposite side of the road. Maybe I just got unlucky with the room I was allocated, but the overall experience was OK at best. There was mould around the window and the paint and structure was falling apart in a grotesque looking way. I kept the curtains closed most of the time to hide this. The room lighting could be a lot better too. The LEDs above the bed were harsh and pointed at your eyes when I sat or laid in bed. So I couldn't have them on at all. With the LEDs above the bed off, the other lights didn't light the room sufficiently or evenly. The room I was allocated was right next to a stock room door or emergency exit of some sort. The staff usually hung around this door smoking, making a lot of noise with equipment and talking loudly throughout the morning. Not only was this distracting but it made the room slightly smell of cigarette smoke, which wasn't pleasant after coming back from a long day and wanting to relax. The bathroom was quite contemporary and modern. However, the shower unit had no lighting so you had to shower with dim lighting. The water wasn't hot enough either. The fridge in the room didn't work.

Needed to upgrade varity of food
Breakfast was lousy with little choice of food available , I had been staying in Guangzhou Planet hotel and other part of Southern China before and their breakfast was very much better than Paco Hotel . Every thing is GOOD except breakfast. I had booked Room & Breakfast package only try it once .

OK, but can be improved upon
A fairly typical no trills hotel, the room was generally clean apart from the carpet, I highly recommend you use the slippers provided, location wise a little difficult to find and most taxi drivers I encountered seems to have a problem finding the place. The wifi provided was extremely slow, but that might not be entirely the hotels fault. The staff was friendly. The place around the hotel was just as no trills as the hotel itself. Overall, a pretty good experience for the price and I wouldn't mind staying again.

Just amazing!
If you go to Guangzhou, just hope you can get a room here. This is as good as you will get for very reasonable prices. When things go wrong - as is the case with all hotels - The Paco stands out in doing their very best to fix your issues. Room costs are very reasonable, and includes breakfasts that are great. The staff are professional, organized and some speak several languages.

good value for convenient location
this is 2nd time we stayed here. both times the hotel reception complained that the description by hotel.com is not correct. the first time, only 1 breakfast for the 2 of us, the 2nd time, the bed is not super big as described. Other than such discrepancies, the hotel location is good, close to subway and many food places. with the price, still a good place to stay. This time, we note that the hygiene rating for the restaurant is B.

The hotel carpet was filthy, it had brown stains on it and on top of this the carpet actually smelled of urine as well. The skirting boards had black hold on them and I did wonder if the maintenance team even look at the room on a regular basis.

The first time to visit City of Guangzhou.
We had just 2 nights stayed at this hotel, the room size was little small than we thought. Especially at shower ,toilet and sink area kind of too narrow. The plumbing system is unusual . The TV was not easy to get start, had call staff come to turn on.

Great location near to Metro Subway station
Hotel is very near to Metro Subway Ouzhang station Exit B1. Room decoration is modern. In-room wifi was a plus. Bed is very comfortable. Guest can control the Aircon. Buffet breakfast was filling but mostly Chinese foods with eggs and bacon.

Paco Business Hotel Ouzhuang Branch is a new hotel. Room is clean and has nice decoration, comfortable bed, in-room wifi. The aircon has their own control in the room. Breakfast was filling though mostly Chinese food. Staff are helpful.

Great Hotel!
I am very impressed with my stay at the hotel. It was very convenient for me to travel to and from the fair with their buses. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, which great room service. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food were also quite nice. Will come back again, definately worth the money! Should be more a four star hotel than a three star.

Actually my room was small. But it was very clean and comfortable. Little varietes Of food in breakfast but it was also not bad. Location is excellent place in center of town very close to metro station. For Arabs it's 2 stations away from xaibeoi. For me it was excellent time.

My corner room is noisy next to stairway. Outside the room like rubbish dump, real messy! Should improve on that! Bathroom is clean n sufficient toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread only normal standard, most food is cold not warm/hot, should improve such as laying cut fruits on 1 platter instead of placing several plates with only a few slice.

i had a very bad experience at this hotel my first issue was the staff of the house keeping very very noisy they are shouting from 6 Am don't care wether you put a don't disturb sign they will still keep knocking on the door until you answer also when cleaning they don't change sheets even when it was not clean slamming doors very very hard its like they are intently are trying to get you out of the hotel also very bad breakfast it was all traditional china food i mean noodles at 6 am !!! no waffles no corn flakes no milk nothing only china food also there was some guy how was selling food at the entrance of the hotel it had the worst smell and nobody cared i mean come on it was the entrance of the hotel and when i checked out they tried to get money as much as they could !! tried to tell me that i tock some things and made a mistake of withdrawing a 3700 RMB!!!!!!! which they said that it was cancelled and still isn't and i am the one how found out it was a very very bad experience for me but the neighbourhood was beautiful and nice shopping malls all around every thing is near for torisume but as for comfort if the site had a minus i will give them a minus 10000 i changed the hotel evantuly

Don't Go to Guangzhou without staying at the Paco
We loved this place, and I can't wait to return. The Paco is located in a quite pocket of center city that allows access to the subway and buses and taxis in less than a one minute walk. In all directions are great choices of historic sites, restaurants and shopping. The Paco staff was extremely professional, and they always had 2-3 persons around who spoke excellent English. The executive suite room was very clean and comfortable, quiet and secure, with GREAT showers and bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds, big windows, in room fridge, etc. For the small difference of 48 Yuan ($8 USD) per night, the suites are a much better choice over the standard room. The included breakfast buffet is HUGE, with a nice choice between traditional Chinese and western, with Dim-Sum or bacon and eggs, with lots of sweets, cappuccino, etc. We left each day with plenty of fuel from the buffet Lots of Europeans, Chinese, Japanese and others stayed at the Paco. The place is truly international and caters to professionals as well as tourists. The staff was great and took care of our every request. I walked around and saw several of the other Guangzhou hotels that you will find on Expedia withing just a few blocks. I have to say the Paco is far nicer and in a much quieter place than many of the other 4 and 5 star choices, and the price is excellent. For the money, this place is so close to 5 star that I just won't bother to shop next trip. I'll just book here again.

I bean in lots off hotel . Trust me this is like a 5star hotel . Was the best hotel. And value for money ! I will only stay here when I come now . Better then garden hotel . And good night life around and lots off shopping around And food .
