The room was generally clean and tidy but the staff who checked in for us gave poor services, there was no welcoming, no explaining and had attitude problems. We waited at the counter area for service yet nobody assisted us until we requested someone to stop whatever they're doing and assist us. One of the staff responded we did not have any bookings at the hotel when I gave them proof of the bookings confirmations. The more senior staff was rude and even yelled at her staff. The junior staff had no idea what he was doing, he gave us the keycards to our room and said we could go, without giving us back our IDs. Despite the service of the check in staff, the concerige staff/bell man was much more helpful and polite. On our way to explore the city, we asked him for recommendations for food and the best way to reach the railway station, he pointed in the directions and names of the streets to go, in order to reach the station and also advised there were restaurants not far away from the hotel. He was friendly, cheerful and helpful each time we passed his desk! Well done to the concerige!
