Staff went out of their way to provide top notch service. Sally, Jason, Tammy, Jimi, Luca and Kenny and others that I didn’t catch their names made our stay wonderful. Next time in Guangzhou we will definitely only chose the Four Points by Sheraton in Dongpu.

It is a very good hotel. But one thing is, the majority of its personals don't speak another language a part from Chinese. Even English is difficult for their servers. Also, they don't have Cotton swab, toothpick, weighing machine in the bedroom. They are also far from the business center. These are the few things I found anormal with them. A part from these, all things were good with them. I recommand this hotel to others.

The hotel is a business hotel, the rooms are relatively simple and comfortable, you have other requirements can consult the hotel staff, we are happy to serve you. Very nice neighbourhood with a lot of restaurants to choose. just by walking 10 minutes to new ikea mall. The staffs are very helpful..i will come again next time.

Location is fairly remote from anywhere although a ten minute walk can get you to the metro. Food in their restaurant was expensive. Concierge staff had poor English and appeared not to work well with each other as a team.

The hotel, room, food etc was all fine, the location was out of the way but I knew this HOWEVER
Upon leaving I asked the conceriege to book me a taxi to Hong Kong airport, no problem, agreed a fee, and they took me to GUANZGHOU airport.
Long story short, I was stuck in Hong Kong for 2 days and it cost me just over £1000.

We are truly sorry for this kind of misunderstand problem. We call limousine to airport immediately and sent guest to Shenzhen strategic pass but unfortunately still miss the flight.
We will retrain our staff need to repeatedly confirm the right information and if guest came back we will arrange room free upgrade to suite and provide free breakfast.

Nice hotel, convenient, comfortabl working aircon!
Good hotel, convenient fro Canton Fair, good breakfast nice room, decent bar - helpful concierge.
MOST IMPORTANT: the room was cooled sufficiently with a proper working aircon - China room always have a problem with overheating and the guest ant control the temperature - this was a very good factor in this hotel.
Check in time could be improved took really long but thats only minor as all hotels in China take long.

Clean location away from smog centers. However food choices are not many.
Good sized rooms typical of a Sheraton hotel.
Access to Google and Gmail was the best feature.

Stayed here for a week ona business trip, our second time at this hotel. It’s rated 4-star but the accommodations and decor are just as good as any 5-star in china at double the price or more. The only negative is the staff at the fancy (and expensive) Chinese restaurant completely ignored us and botched our order twice, probably because we were westerners. Otherwise the front desk staff and concierge more than made up for it in service and attemtiveness. Highly recommend!

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel however is not as described. The hotel is not 15mins away from the Guangzhou East train station or Canton fair more like 40mins with traffic. Stayed here while visiting canton fair and if your looking to do the same note that the bus drops you off in a bad place that’s extremely busy! The swimming pool in reality is very small and has a strange aroma so I didn’t use it.
Very nice hotel. Everyone spoke English and was friendly. It is a 15 minute walk to a shopping mall with KFC and Pizza hut in the lower level and grocery store in the upper levels. The food at the hotel is very expensive, $41 USD for the breakfast buffet per person, $7 for a bottle water or $6 coffee if you want a la carte breakfast plus the price of the food. I didn't try lunch or dinner there. The pool looked nice. My only complaint was the food prices, if you take that into consideration you can get a hotel in a better area with free breakfast for the same price. It is more of an industrial/office area next door to a school and high rise apartment buildings. There is nothing to do around this hotel other than walk around and see some where some of the locals shop. If you just want a clean friendly place to stay I would recommend it.

Just my opinion, and I have spent over 700 nights
Boring, boring, boring. Expensive food (served cold) and nothing near the hotel. Staff was great.
the staff were very courteous and tried to assist where possible though their English wasn't the best but all come good in the end. The food and facilities were very good, very close to train station 5-10 minute walk.
The visit to the area was to attend the Canton fair. The hotel was very well connected to the fair - having a shuttle bus available right at the front door and also having it clearly visible when getting from the show complex back to the hotel.
On the whole it was a good experience but there is room for improvement.
My only comment was that the doorman should have been more helpful. Arriving with a baby and luggage plus a baby stroller that needed to be unloaded from the back of the car the doorman just stood and watched. I believe this is the second time that a customer is making such comment. The management should be more mindful of our feedback so that to offer customers the basic of service.
It is far from downtown and a 15 min. walk from the closer subway station. But such a new hotel at this price range is a good deal. A good surprise was that its access to the airport is relatively easy. A 5 min. taxi ride takes you to a hotel called Grand Royal, where you can get on bus line 4 to Baiyun Intl. Airport.
When I did a search this hotel came up as "close to the airport with a shuttle service available". Non of this was true. It cost us $50USD to get from the airport to the hotel and only $30USD for transport back, as then your not at the mercy of airport taxi drivers who do not speak English. It was then a 1hr drive to the hotel. A part from this cost and inconvenience of travle time, the hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. We were able to check in early without any question. We dined at on of the hotels Cantonese restaurants and found the food great, but the staff not very helpful. We found ourselves being avoided by staff as we did not speak the native tongue, this was extremely frustrating to the point we almost walked out.
