Arrived Tuesday and check in was good . Went down to the restaurant and ordered the veal and asked for well done with no red / blood whatsoever. I was very clear on this . Was in the company of two others, Food arrived and clearly cooked to medium with blood clearly visible. Food was sent back and arrived back when the other diners were finished their meal . Veal was well done on the outside but still red in the middle / centre of the meat. In addition the accompanying chips were undercooked and clearly rushed to accompany the meal . I then order a second pinot Grigio and a different wine arrived . I did not drink it and called it a night . I expesssed my disappointment on the night to the hostess who apologised but no adjustment / gesture/ etc reflected in the bill . I believe that in these situations some gesture of goodwill should be made . It resulted in me choosing not to dine there for the rest of my stay . Breakfast is good in the hotel normally but on Thursday they had no yougurt which I always choose along with the nice selection of nuts and granola. I asked for a portion of yougurt but was told that it had not been delivered that morning . Again I found this a strange proposition as would imagine that stocks would not have to be delivered on a daily basis and that some back up stock would be in store . At a minimum a few tubs from the myriad of stores beside the hotel could act as a contingency plan. Not ideal but a solution but I basically had no breakfast that day

My room was more carefully and thoughtfully planned than any modern hotel room that I have stayed in in Europe The bed was first-rate and four (FOUR) oversized down pillows made it heaven The staff were young and competent and eager to help A great experience !! And accessible food service for all three meals was a plus! Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay
Every hotel should be like this. Spotlessly clean, wonderful large rooms, beds you don't want to get out of. Helpful staff, lovely atmosphere. Totally fantastic. Breakfast superb. Very sad to leave and can't wait to come back.

Everything about my stay was fantastic quality - staff, check in, room, food and drink, location - absolutely perfect. So much to wander to and see in the city, great wifi for catching up with some work and very comfy bed - simply brilliant.

Wonderful hotel, second best I’ve stayed in while in Europe (first is the Artz in Barcelona). Very nice, clean, beautiful rooms, wonderful bar and restaurant. Breakfast was incredible. Nothing isn’t to like!

We had a fabulous stay. Lovely large room with seating area. Beautifully quiet. Superb huge bathroom, all lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Nice coffee in room (a bit more would be helpful in a twin room) and a kettle. Contemporary furnishings, stylish, public area beautifully presented. Staff lovely and helpful.

Perfectly Located Modern and Comfortable Hotel
Perfect location in the City Market Centre opposite the Civic Hall. Parking is 100m away in the Forum Car Park which is new clean and has wide spaces. Rooms are well fitted out and great fo all, but as a business user the desk and plugs and wifi etc are all well thought through. Exceptional and staff are efficient and charming, checking in and out is very efficient.

Fantastic hotel in a great location in central Groningen. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. Our room was extremely comfortable and had everything required for our stay. We thought that the food options were great. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a feast , excellent selection. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Every single member of staff that we met was simply amazing. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming that we really felt at home. The staff in the bar and restaurant were brilliant. Efficient,helpful,always smiling. The staff are a credit to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel , we had a wonderful stay here.

We had superior room. Receptionist gave us room on the first floor with twin beds. No view, dark space. I asked about the room with double bed (because it was our wedding anniversary). She said that it is impossible. Very strange, because they could give us at least one blanket (we had 2 separate). No bathrobes. The shower is really strange- it is open and transparent and if you stay with your friends it can be confusing because there is no privacy. Toilet with glacé door. Breakfast crowded but normal. In general it would be ok for 100 Euro but we paid 220… I would say that it is 3 star hotel.

Excellent stay. Hotel very good and very professional. Only issue I had was that housekeeping left my door on the latch all day - meaning it was visibly open all day whilst I was at work. I am still waiting for my complimentary bottle of whisky as a way of apology!

The room is very spacious and nice design. Good location with reasonable price. The staff are very professional and helpful especially the tall guy with blue jacket in the restaurant who introduced the breakfast buffet. Definitely will come back again!
