The view was great, really enjoyed looking over the Tamar river. The bathrooms were lovely and clean. Some blackout blinds or eye masks would have been great to assist with a bit more sleep in but it was lovey to wake up to that sunrise over the river.

The stay was fantastic and highly recommended for anyone visiting Launceston. This apartment covers all your needs, offering cooking facilities, bbq pit, oven, microwave, family entertainment like board games, Apple TV, Netflix, internet, and even toiletry essentials. There are two washing machine and a dryer, dish washer. It's spacious, spotlessly clean, and the view of the Tamar River is simply breathtaking. Arriving with my family of four, we booked the two-bedroom apartment and had a wonderful experience.

Perfect in almost every way
We had a lovely 3 night stay here, and honestly wished we could have stayed longer! From the fresh bread at arrival, to the views of the Tamar River and the nearby vineyards, as well as winetasting literally a minute's walk away, it was a great stay. The kitchen was so well stocked and equipped with everything you would need, including (importantly) a nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. We also liked having the washing machine, dryer and clotheslines to catch up on laundry. The only small critiques are: - blockout blinds on the windows would be helpful to avoid being woken up at sunrise (but it is a lovely view to wake up to!) - some traffic noise from the highway down below (but this didn't greatly detract from our stay). We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

We had the most incredible stay. The view is magnificent! The rooms were very clean, super comfortable beds and the bathroom was clean and spacious with fantastic water pressure. There were so many small details that were just incredible that made our stay feel so special. Like the beautiful baked bread with jams waiting for us on arrival, all the condiments available for use, cereals were also available to use. Overall an amazing place to stay.

The view was beautiful and the unit looked exactly like the advertised images. We were delayed leaving due to car troubles and management were very understanding and didn't mind us staying way beyond our check-out time. The cleaner even arrived with a jump-starter kit which was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. I would recommend this Tamar River Apartments to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat with a beautiful view.

We had a fantastic stay at Tamar River Apartments. Super comfy and the kids in their own studio next door. The fresh bread and jam was a nice touch and the pantry staples are great if you’re keen to stay in and cook a meal like we did. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Fabulous location up on the hill, nearby to the Tamar wetlands which was beautiful at dusk. Loved the deep bath for a long soak. Terrific for relieving sore muscles after a multi day hike. Amazing property, spacious and perfect for a getaway. The nice touch of fresh bread and jams were a real hit on arrival and made for a beautiful breakfast on the deck overlooking the vineyards. The property has everything you need and so much more. Highly recommend staying here

This property was extremely comfortable with great facilities and great amenity with fabulous views. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need with basic supplies, as well as 2 loaves of fresh bread which was left for us. The only criticism I would have is that there are no block out window furnishings so the sun shone through the beautiful windows bright and early in the morning.

Absolutely brilliant apartment amongst the trees over looking the river. One of the best places we stayed on our week long trip around Tasmania, highly recommend!

The location is great. The area was quiet except for some highway traffic noise. The host made you feel welcome with a loath of bread and a bottle of sparkling. A few things were probably overlooked by the cleaner. Two hand washing bottles were both empty. A bedside light did not work. The fan in the bathroom appeared not working so the window had to be open constantly. Certainly a good choice to stay in Launcestion.

Relaxing!
We loved it here! Beautiful views lovely decor and everything you needed including a barbecue. Some pantry items, and tea, coffee & milk. Fresh bread on arrival too. Be prepared, very light in the morning with no curtains. But who wants to block out the view! Traffic can be a little bit noisy on the highway too. Beautiful winery and gin distillery right next door on the property.

The check-in process for this property was great, views were exceptional and the amenities the best i have ever seen in an apartment. Even a loaf of fresh bread and jams as a welcome gift. Very clean and a perfect space for the 2 of us. Pity about the cranky lady at the cellar door, but as i understand the 2 properties are not linked.

The Good: The great location overlooking the the Tamar river, The design of the one bedroom apartment plus lockup bedroom is well thought out, ensuring privacy for each unit. The units were well prepared and clean. Amenities plus thoughtful touches like bread & jam proceeded, were appre since there is no grocery shop within walking distance. The Not So Good: The convenient location off the highway also included some traffic noise. Consideration should perhaps be given to reinstalling thick curtains to reduce traffic noise and light for those who want to sleep in. Also screening off the laundry facilities in the bedroom apartment will improve the ambience. Overall: An excellent property, somewhere one would happily return to.

10 out 10. This property has everything you need, and more than what you expected (kitchen is well equipped). Check-in is easy without any problem. The view from big windows is quite amazing. Highly recommended to book and stay if you are travelling to this region.

The property was beautifully presented with amazing views through glass walls, a balcony for each room (we booked two rooms), very clean, excellent kitchen, cookware, utensils, plenty of pantry supplies, plunger, pod coffee, Robert Timms sachet, complimentary mill, butter, bread and local jams, the owner greeted me by first name when I rang them! .....I can go on a lot more. In summary, this is by far the best self-service accommodation we've ever had, anywhere. Thank you for everything Sue and Andy!

The apartment has a beautiful view both inside apartment and outside( balcony). The amenities are more friendly than expected, which include choices of breakfast, noodles, rice etc. The ceiling is high and made me feel refresh. The only thing that I want to take about is that the entrance was not easy to aware during night time when driving.

Great location
Spectacular location and not that far from Launceston, while we went out for lunch during our 2 night stay we gathered supplies and ate in. There are basic supplies provided but get what you want before you arrive or head to Legana that isn’t far away.

Had a great stay
We had a lovely stay here - were very happy with everything. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment which is actually 2 separate rooms in one cabin, separated by a small indoor landing and with a lockable extra external door. So we had more space than we were expecting with 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a second kitchenette. It worked well for our situation - a couple with a 5 year old child. The wall of windows looking out to the treetops was wonderful and I loved the layout where you can lie in the bed and see that view (also an option to screen it off). The lounge is cosy with very comfy leather sofas - all the decor and fittings are stylish. A fabulous big bath with a view as well. Well equipped, we had everything we needed to cook etc and everything was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely return!

You must have apartment 13a, Sue and Andy have thought of every little detail, from cooking oil right down to toothpicks, the apartment is absolutely amazing with breathe taking views and an absolute immaculate apartment, we didn’t want to leave. Everything is very new and clean. Excellent panoramic views. Premises very large. The hosts were nice enough to leave a simple breakfast for us which was not part of the write-up. It's a place you can enjoy for more than a day.

This apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed to feel at home. Having fresh bread and jams awaiting us was a nice added bonus! The views was amazing, the price was so good and it allowed a 1 night stay too!- the host was easy to contact and responded straight away. highly recommend this place to everyone. :-D
