Restaurant was closed but we had a complimentary breakfast at a cafe nearby and it was wonderful. The breakfast ( bread, cheeses, cakes) were all delicious.

It took time to realize the check-in was via an automatic machine at the entrance to hotel. But system worked fine and issued entry card with my credit card. Interesting place --- I watched the indoor cyclists on the indoor track. Rooms are available for people using the track and stay overnight.

Truly unique. The hotel rooms are part of cycling training and competition center. Monday to Friday visitors can observe live video broadcasts from the training center in the lounge and sometimes observe conditioning training live in the outdoor area. Bike rental service can also be arranged. Central location near several highways great for day trips. On Site dining excellent and inexpensive. Rooms are large and comfortable.

The Tissot is an unusual hotel. I think there are only twenty or so rooms. It is attached to a velodrome. There are no staff at the hotel (at least not on a Saturday evening and Sunday morning). Guests check in using a machine outside the front door, where a key is issued for entry. It works. My room was a reasonable size, basic, comfortable and perfectly acceptable. It was clean and tidy. However, during my stay (in August) it was warm in the room; there was a fan in the wardrobe to help with that. I chose the Tissot for its location close to the airport. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Grenchen North station, and a 10 minute walk from Grenchen South station (it can be done by bus). The velodrome has a restaurant, but it does not open at week-ends and we didn’t use it. In the town centre (between the stations) there are a number of decent restaurants. About 200 metres from the Tissot there is a popular bakery and we had a good continental breakfast there.

Functional, clean, quirky...and great value.
For the price, amazing! Clean, functional, and quirky. Stayed with my wife and 8yr old daughter when we couldn't get a room in Biel, and our room was nicer than the rooms our friend had in town. Free car park is a plus! Only downside is it's a little isolated, but if you have a car then no problem at all.

The property is nice and clean. The rooms are comfortable. The property is in a Velodrome and no restaurant is operating at the time, however in Grenchen you will find great restaurants.

Der Check-In wurde super gelöst und alles Nötige war im Zimmer vorhanden. Es gibt Gratis Nespresso auf dem Flur :-) Schade war, dass die Guest WLAN Credentials nur als QR Code aufgeführt waren. Mit den Laptop ein bisschen unpraktisch.

very good room for a short stay
only problem was the key dispensing machine has a technical problem thus no room key was issued. had to call emergency number given the lady at the other end was very help. we got the key through manual means. the other unpleasant surprise is that i am charge 6 times for the same room from my credit card.

Très bon hôtel
L’hôtel se trouve dans le vélodrome, c’est assez sympa comme expérience. La chambre est grande et très bien. La salle de bain est top.

La chambre est fonctionnelle et propre. Par contre point négatif, un sèche-cheveux est à disposition, mais pas compatible avec les prises électriques nni de la salle de bain, ni de la chambre, donc inutilisable. Le téléviseur ne fonctionnait pas et il n'y avait aucune notice explicative. Comme l'hôtel est 100% self-service, il n'y a aucunne possibilité de se renseigner sur place, que vos questions concernent l'hôtel lui-même ou la région.

Pour les amoureux du cyclisme, belle expérience
Hôtel agréable et bon rapport qualité prix. En plus, une belle expérience avec le vélodrome juste à côté pour tout fanatique de la petite reine. Par contre, le check in automatisé fonctionne mal dans la mesure où l'écran tactile montre des insuffisances dans la prise de signature pour la fiche de police. Svp à corriger. Autrement, personnel du restaurant adjacent très serviable.

Excellent hôtel pour séjour professionnel
Hotel parfait pour séjour professionnel, récéption automatisée 24h/24 très utile en cas d'arrivée tardive. Chambre au design industriel assez froid mais la qualité des équipements est excellente (équipements salle de bain inox), lit étonnamment confortable, beaucoup d'espace dans la chambre et grand bureau bien pratique pour travailler.
