We really enjoyed our stay, but we had a few issues that nearly ruined it for us. Overall it was a great value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone for 3-6 days. After that, the food gets repetitive. For example, we were only there 4 days, but 2 of those were "Greek night" in the buffet. Unfortunately we had to do the buffet because all of the nicer restaurants were fully booked when we arrived. What's the point of promoting 5 restaurants when we could only eat at one of them? I felt cheated. But the free cocktails and other drinks were great. Unfortunately there was always a wait - at least 5 people in every queue for drinks, usually with only one person making the drinks.
The pools were great and not too crowded. The beach was not so great - it wasn't sand or stone - it was more of a gravel that strangely reminded me of cat litter. If you want a nice beach with sand, go to Falaraki or south.
We had a few issues that the staff tried to sort out, but they were unable to get them fixed quickly. For example, our key cards stopped working. Whenever we wanted to go to our room, we had to wait for a staff member to take us. With a baby needing a nappy change and naps, waiting 10-15 minutes each time we wanted to get in our room was very annoying. We also had problems with the air conditioner that were never resolved. We also had a shower that didn't drain. The sun and pools and cocktails made up for it, and we'd go back for a few days at the same rate.
