We had our new contractor look into this and said he was not sure how it happened. He assumed it was from the previous owners’ contractors and they have already been assigned to look into all the rooms that were worked on before we changed management and ownership. Everything else is up to code and working perfectly. We apologize on their behalf. Thank you for staying with us and being so courteous with the previous mistake.

Some of their breakfast had mold on it. Also the bathroom door in my room broke its door handle so I was trapped inside for awhile before the property manager came to open it. Good room pricing but their facilities should be better kept.

We are sorry that you had issues with your stay. We try to check all breakfast before putting it out for guests to eat but this package was newly opened and was received yesterday. We have contacted the company and they are looking into it. We will make sure to check even the new shipments as well. The door looked to have been slammed too hard, possibly by the previous guests. Our housekeepers did not notice anything wrong as it was the inner workings of the door knob that had a pin loose. Our maintenance man already fixed it in no time after you checked out. We apologize for this inconvenience, and wish the previous guest would have said something to prevent this. When offered another room you declined, and there isn’t much beyond that we could have done for this mistake. We appreciate your review and for staying with us, thank you. Please rest assured that we have fixed any and all issues and will continue to check them more frequently in the future.

We do not rent to Grand Island residents. If you informed Expedia of this then they should have told you as well. No hotels in town rent to residents and even Hastings does not allow Grand Island residents and vice versa. If the insurance company calls us to tell us any issues with housing, then we proceed with the bookings. However, yours was not the case. When you showed your ID we informed you of this and told you to contact Expedia for the refund. We can not contact them as they have to have customer confirmation when refunding. You have not called them, so we can not proceed until you have done so. Please contact them right away, it is very simple and we do not mind at all if this confusion happens. Just understand the policies set by most hotels, and if you don’t know then please contact them beforehand. We are always happy to help. Thank you.

We did not know about any issues while you stayed, if we did we would have resolved any issues we could have. Staff was mostly adsent. Continental breakfast was terrible. Dining area was very dirty with zero attention being given to it. Rooms had been recently remodeled and were ok.

Your feedback is very important to us, and I am saddened to hear that you had issues with your stay. Our staff isn't at the front desk 24/7 as they have other things they have to do- such as cleaning, stocking, and having their food breaks. If a customer comes while the front desk assistant is busy then the phone acts as a bell to call the front desk to come assist the guests. This is like that at all places where it is not an office to be able to take off and go to lunches or stay in one place. Our new breakfast room was just recently built. Since we have taken over from the previous management we have a lot of steps to take to add on the hot breakfast. We should have everything available within the next week! Please call the front desk if they are busy, with the phone put at the front desk, and ask any questions you may have so they can help ease any confusion. Thank you for staying with us, please come back and see the new changes we are excited about!

We have a pest control spray twice a month all around the inside and outside of the building, if a customer has any complaints we notify them right away to come back due to their quality guarantee.
