I was a little leery after some more recent reviews, but the hotel was wonderful for what it is--a tourist hotel situated in the middle of everything. The guys at the front desk were helpful, fast at checking us in and even made some recommendations on best affordable meals nearby. Our room was super clean and the bathroom, though a little odd in terms of layout, was large and roomy. Shower worked great, too. Our room had a view of the Alhambra, which we loved, and overall, the hotel was quiet. Very clean and nothing out of the ordinary. Most surprising, though, was the breakfast they offer--reasonably priced, but also really, really good. If there is a con here, it's: the Alhambra turns off its outdoor lighting and kills the view after 1AM or so. The 4th and 5th floors are also only accessible by stairs, but not too onerous. If you're looking for an Orlando resort style hotel, or if this is your standard, you're gonna complain the whole time. But if you're looking for a cozy room in a central location, this place does the job well.
