Phone did not work in our bedroom. The toilet flush didn’t work but once reported that was resolved. We’d stayed at this hotel six years ago - the hotel bedrooms now look like they could do with an upgrade. The staff throughout were excellent and couldn’t do enough to help.

Nice hotel right next to Alhambra. About 10 mins walk to busy shopping streets. Very clean and quiet. Spacious room and bath. It was a little strange water was not complimentary.

A very nice property, very high-end looking. Comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The decorum is a bit avant-garde. The strangest thing about our room is there is no shade to block out street lights and lights from other buildings at night (maybe we did not figure out).

The bidet was far too small for an average size adult to use, but if one was tiny enough to manage, there was no soap or towel supplied, although there was a towel holder. The coffee mugs would not fit in the coffee maker and there were no instructions on how to use it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable so it’s a shame to have these defects.

The hotel room, staff and property itself was very good. However, for evening entertainment, it was a 25-minute walk downhill and requires a taxi on the way back. The hotel is conveniently located to the Alhambra but would recommend a hotel in the city center.

This is an excellent hotel, right next to the Alhambra Palace. It sits on the hill and it takes a short walk down to the town but the path is very beautiful. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, provided us with a lot of useful information. They even have a Sauna.

Maravillosa!
Had a fantastic stay at Aurea. The service was excellent and they responded kindly to every request we had. The distance to the Alhambra was perfect and we made it for our tour in no time. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada and plan on returning to stay here when I return!

I had such a great time here at Áurea and Granada that I stayed on one more day. My room was so comfortable and the two balconies that I had facing the Alhambra were amazing. The area is gorgeous and at the top of a park which I walked down and up to get to the heart of the city. I wish I could have stayed on indefinitely.

Compared to the immediate area, this hotel is considerably nicer in aesthetics and cleanliness. However, this hotel appears to be just that. Pros: - close to the Alhambra, quite literally 2 minutes walk from the main entrance - it’s next to a cute rooftop restaurant Jardines Alberto and the food is not bad - if you’re planning to visit the Hammam Al Ándalus as well, it’s a 15-20 minute walk. A tad challenging on the road’s inclines but easy enough to get to - the staff at reception are really friendly and helpful Cons: - not sound proof at all. You could hear people in the halls talking and closing their doors and everything else in between - the restaurant is really understaffed especially at night, makes it hard to enjoy service when there’s only 2 gentlemen that are doing room service AND taking orders in the dining room and lobby bar - food is mediocre especially for the price - breakfast buffet is underwhelming. It’s a very small corner at the back of the restaurant with limited options compared to a lot of other buffets - could see mildew and mold in the grout between the shower tiles. - it’s quite far up the hill which makes it difficult if you want to go and explore the city or other food options in the immediate area

Awesome location with views of the Alhambra. Staff was great in scheduling transportation as well as getting tickets for flamenco (El Taranto). 100 meters from the gates of El Alhambra. Staff speaks multiple languages. Would stay here again. 5 star property
