Very quite resort we was 20 girls on a hen do! We wasn’t being loud but two people asked us to keep noise down we was only talking around the pool in the middle of the day! Great for family’s and older people. They should provide free water in the rooms. And coffe in room is only one per person per day.

Great hotel and excellent staff. I just didn't like the location. Nothing near by and the surrounding area is run down and empty. Hotel is fantastic so we just stayed inside for three days .

This was a lovely property but quite remote, if you want to walk to playa Del ingles it’s 40 mins as you can’t get through bu the golf club sand dunes so on the map it looks like you are really close , also no tea making facilities, only coffe machine which was disappointing

Check in chaotic. First time I have ever been asked to fix a time on check in for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Housekeeping was not great - linen not changed for several days even when requested. Smell of drains. Area around pool dirty with old cups and straws that other customers don't place in bins. Alot of confusion around all inclusive and extra all inclusive. Kuch nicer hotels in same area for price range

Upon arriving on our second day, we were unable to enter our room due to a difficulty with our key. We went to the front desk to receive a new key but the front desk personnel was on the phone. Waited 15 minutes to speak with him because he was unwilling to take a moment on hold and help us with our key. Then, after finally receiving our key, we entered our room to find our air conditioning not working. Called the front desk this time and he had a repair man come to our room. After taking apart the air conditioning, the repair man told us to wait 20 minutes and then call the front desk if it was still not working. After 20 minutes, it was still not working so we called the front desk. He had no solution. We decided to walk down to the front desk and request a new room. After waiting another 30 minutes to speak to him, the man at the front desk did not want to move us to another room and even suggested we were lying about the air conditioning being broken ~ which we found shocking ~ but we were eventually moved. The whole experience was unpleasant ~ and for us, unacceptable. We would not return and we would not recommend.

the stay was great - nice pool, entertainment, reception staff really helpful Only things to watch out for - the ac doesn’t work well in all rooms, you need to buy water (we had a problem as we paid for dinner one evening but they wouldn’t give us water because we weren’t full board!!) You do need to either walk a bit in main roads to get to places and take busses or be prepared to pay for taxis as the hotel is away from main places There’s an excellent shuttle bus a few times a day to two local beaches though Take your own nespresso pods as very expensive to buy from hotel Otherwise great !

4 Star perfection in Gran Canaria
We had a fabulous week at the Kumara with great experienced staff. Who couldn't do enough to keep things running smoothly. The food choices were exceptional. The junior suite clean and modern and facilities around the hotel good. Walking to the beach and other venues us about 20 minutes but pleasant enough if you are able.

Four star facilities; two star mentality.
This is a stylish, modern resort-type hotel aiming for, but not entirely succeeding to achieve, high standards. The room was comfortable and in good condition. However, there were quite a number of unsatisfactory aspects to our stay. 1) Check-in was very slow and explanations were not clear. We noticed that reception was regularly under-staffed. 2) It is astonishing that they make a daily charge for use of the safe. Surely at the rate charged this could be included (which is the case in most normal 4-star hotels). At least we knew about this in advance. 3) Further meanness was shown by the charge for coffee capsules, of which there was no mention in advance. We bought 20 Nespresso-compatible capsules from a local supermarket for less than 7 Euro; the equivalent cost from the hotel would have been 25 Euro. Also mean-spirited was the charge for use of larger sunbeds. 4) Although the breakfast had a good range of items, most were of mediocre quality. It was also very surprising that in a resort hotel breakfast finished as early as 10am. 5) The hotel claims that the room curtains are black-out; they are definitely not.

It could be perfect.
Let’s start with the positive. The cleanliness is superb. I have stayed in hotels all over the world & the rooms are cleaned to an exceptional standard. My only complaint is that the towels are like sandpaper. Soft towels please. The pool is also a good size & depth. Again it is carefully cleaned twice a day. When I checked in I was given a room with single beds and a dodgy door security. I wasn’t taken seriously. After midnight I could not get in my room & a staff member had trouble opening the door. Reception did not help until the next day. I had booked a queen bed & my new room had the right bed and the door worked perfectly. I believe reception should have helped that night. I had to prove the next day I had booked double beds. I am 52 & 6 foot & 102kg - I don’t do single beds. After that the reception was superb. The restaurant staff were excellent but the food lacked quality in many areas. The beef was too chewable and the chips were soggy and the MoJo sauce was tasteless. These are just 3 examples. The coffee machines were also plain awful. My BIG complaint is that they charge a premium to use the room safe. WHY????? Surely hotels want their guests to feel safe. I have never known a hotel charge this before & I spoke to a hotelier friend of mine and he said this was madness as missing passports and money is every hotels nightmare. I would stay here again as I know what to expect. It could be perfect for little extra effort.

Had a fantastic time staying here. I was slightly put off that some said they had had something stolen, but I booked it anyway. Throughout my whole visit I and my belongings felt totally safe - so please don't let this past review put you off. The pool was amazing and the rooms were perfect size and totally spotlessly clean. Totally modern aswell with an amazing shower. I will defo go back there again, and am looking to book again shortly.

Good hotel, nice room and very friendly staff. However if the goal is to go to the beach I would not recommend it as it is 3 km walking distance from the beach. There is a bus shuttle but personally I do not want to take a bus to go to the beach and it is also only twice a day

Jeg var her i vinterferien med mitt barnebarn på 10 år. En jente. Et perfekt sted for oss. Rolig, trygt, behagelig og perfekt på alle måter. Restauranten var ekstra fin med de deiligste retter i buffeen. Frokost og middag valgte vi å spise der, selv om vi ikke hadde bestilt dette på forhånd.Egne busser fra hotellet til de nærliggende tettsteder var virkelig et pluss. Hotellet hadde en svært så serviceinnstilt personale. Veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Renholdet var helt topp, både i hotellområdet og på rommene. Treningsstudio var godt utrustet. Vi var strålende fornøyd med apsolutt alt. Vi kommer så gjerne igjen og anbefaler stedet på det varmeste.

Prachtig uitzicht in het adult only gedeelte op de golfbaan. Heerlijk rustig. Vriendelijk personeel. Schoon. Prima ontbijt. Avondeten was ook wel ok, maar had nog wat gevarieerder gekund en soms wat logistieke probleempjes. Beetje onduidelijk in hoeverre de balinese ligbedden nu wel of niet inbegrepen zijn.

Dear Ulrica,Thank you for sharing a review about your stay at Kumara Serenoa by Lopesan Hotels****.We are sorry that we did not meet your cleaning standards and would have loved to hear from you directly during your stay to discuss and clarify everything on the spot.About insects, having large garden spaces and living on an island with a tropical climate means that on specific occasions they can enter the room. The hotel carries out periodic fumigation controls certified by a specialized company, but it may happen that in isolated cases occur occasionally. You can read in the comments on this portal that this type of event does not usually occur in this hotel, so it is not a cleanliness problem but rather the characteristics of the destination and the climate. Très beau club. Possibilité de passer en all inclusive pour 15euro par jour. Le seul point négatif cest que cest éloigné pour se rendre à pied jusqu'au phare. Il faut aimer marcher, ou prendre la navette ou taxi pour 7 euros.

molto bella la struttura personale molto gentile bella posizione anche se distante dalle spiagge,ma hanno la navetta gratuita, molta varieta' per la colazione ,siamo stati molto bene,bellissima vacanza

+ Trevlig personal. + Relativt fräscht. + Poolen. - Maten, väldigt litet utbud jämfört med andra Lopesan-hotel. Dessutom var den ofta ganska smaklös. - Vatten fanns inte att tillgå förutom i små koppar när baren var öppen. Andra Lopesan-hotel har fri tillgång. - Handfatet i badrummet var ofräscht, smutsigt. - Att solsängarna kostade pengar. (Solstolar ingår endast som boende!) - Läget, taxi överallt.

Das Essen war sehr einfach und einseitig. Vieles hat sich wiederholt. Manches schmeckte fad und fettig. Sogar beim Obst morgens gab es täglich das gleiche. Abends gab es noch nicht einmal eine Käse Auswahl mit verschiedenen Obst Variationenen. Morgens ist mehrfach das Baguette ausgegangen. Wir hätten uns mehr Auswahl gewūnscht und mehr Qualität. Auch die beqemlichkeit der Stūhle lies zu wūnschen ūbrig zumindestens im Aussenberech des Restaurants. Von einem vier Sterne Hotel erwarten wir da definitiv mehr. Postiv zu erwähnen sind die bequemen außen Sonnenbetten und auch die sehr bequemen Matratzen, sowie das große und Moderne Bad (in der Suite).
