The check in area was a mess. It was next to the highway and noisy and the area just felt unsafe. Accordingly, we decided not to stay as my wife was not feeling particularly well

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. They accommodate pets and do not charge an arm and a leg for it. One of the driveways was being redone but that shows that they do upkeep on the property. One of the stairwells (the one closest to my room) was inaccessible and needs to be repaired. The outside is not the cleanliest but it is not terrible. I would definitely stay there again.

There was no plug for the bathtub, so could only take a shower. The drain plug in the sink was broken. Everything was clean, but no coffee in the room or lobby. Refrigerator and microwave worked fine and the TV worked with many channels. There was no shampoo in the room, but we had brought our own.

The “clean” towels were stained, the sheets had marks on them, there were old moldy bananas in the mini fridge, the top of the toilet tank didn’t fit the tank so the inside of the tank was exposed, the shower curtain was so long I was stepping on it in the shower, and worst of all the drain in the shower was clogged so when I showered, dirty water was building up around my feet. Also, pretty sure I almost got harassed by a long term tenant who seems to be hoarding in a room across from mine if I hadn’t rushed to get in my car and lock the door as fast as I did. Worst 2 night hotel experience ever. It was a last minute trip and I couldn’t afford much… and sadly I got what I paid for.

Ice machine out of service. With high temps in Texas, a iced cold glass of anything can help. Room was ok. Needs a bit tlc. Hot water. Clean sheets. Plenty of towels.

I was traveling 14 1/2 hours plus adding delays on the highway. Good called a head to let hem know I would be an extremely late arrival. They were so understanding and kind. I woke the poor man up when I got here. But he still kept a smile on his face and was very understanding.

Terrible mattress condition and bath mold
We had the worst mattress ever, So lumpy and hard. The bathroom under the sink had green fuzzy mold on the base board tile and dirty grime around the tile. There wasn't any hot water Saturday night since the hotel had a lot of rooms booked. Friday night water temperature was ok. We were so disappointed that we left a night early knowing the manager wouldn't refund anything. It was that bad! I should have gotten pictures.

The front desk manager was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. A city-wide power outage hit just as I arrived, so none of the electric equipment worked. The manager was able to find a good room for me and made the key when the power came back on. It's a very bare-bones place with few amenities, but worked fine for what I needed. The TV and channel selection was excellent.

Great older hotel with friendly staff.
Stayed here a couple of nights and was really pleased. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking is good, I was pulling a trailer and asked where management where they wanted me to park. They had me park along the fence up by the front which had security cameras watching the area. My room was pleasant and super clean. The hotel is a older one but a goody. If in the area again looking for a room, this will be my first stop.

I have stayed at this property many times through its many changes. From Motel 6 to Coratel to now the Executive Inn. It is not luxury, but it is run very well and the management especially 'Jay", are great and always helpful. The first thing that impressed me about it is that it is clean. The daily housekeeping there is great. The showers are good and hot, the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators but no coffee makers or hair dryers.( you have to supply those on your own.) That's part of being No frills. But for the money it's a pleasant place to stay especially if you're attending the Round Top antiques fairs because you don't have to go through the Warrenton traffic to get there or leave. There are many restaurant choices grocery stores and a Walmart nearby, I even found a nail salon close by.

Old but Clean
Hotel was old but clean, accept for the ants in the bathroom. Shower rod starting falling from wall on last day. This was a smoke-free room, but on the first day we could smell smoke. No smoke odor on days 2 & 3. Guess it was coming through the walls from a different room. All in all, the room condition was poor but ok if you're looking for an inexpensive room.

It is definitely not the newest facility but was fine for staying a few nights while shopping all day at Round Top. The staff was very nice and quick to act when we had an issue with the door lock. It was also very clean. I will say my biggest concern is the bathroom ceiling looks like it has some mold on it and the bath towels are pitiful.

This was the only hotel in the area we could find that had a room, and I know why, dirty, and they gave me a key to a room that someone else was still in!!!! They quickly changed my room but in this room there was literally pee in the edge of the bathtub!!

Good all around
Facility and rooms were clean, staff friendly and sign was easy to spot late night. Furniture getting a little worn but acceptable. Shower was outstanding with mucho water pressure! Beds comfortable and slept very good.Will definately stay here if in the area again.
