"The location is fantastic. The staff are friendly, welcoming and the service was very efficient. The room was very clean and had plenty of space to store clothes and belongings. We both enjoyed the food and there was plenty of meat options. My partner is pescatarian and would have welcomed some vegetarian sausages options at breakfast. Otherwise the food was good quality and well presented. Overall a super hotel, great location and a very relaxing time. When we booked our room said limited views of the berg but that want quite true. Standing on the balcony we had almost unlimited views! "

"We booked through Hotel.com and requested a chalet 2 bedroom for 4 adults. When we arrived at 15h30 we were taken to a room with 2 double beds(No one queried this at the time) Not sure as my mom booked chalet for us. At 20h30 at night they came to tell us we in the wrong type of room and we have to pay more and change rooms. Firstly, why not say something at check in so we could have sorted it out than. Not at this time of night. We showed them the request of booking, the type of room and the amount we paid. They were not interested. They made us feel as if we were trying to sneak people in. Will never stay there again or recommend them. They need to understand customer service first."

"Very disappointing..the pictures on the net must be removed as it is false advertising..looks nothing like it..the room wasnt prepared as requested..the only plus was that the rooms and linen were clean..breakfast was included in price but only served on the morning we checked out..there was no hot water to shower..no milk to have a cup of tea on arrival...not a pleasant experience at all...i did message the owner and requested a refund for non delivery of service but to date haven't had a response..."

"Modern rooms with great amenities. Fantastic location on lake with braai outside under room on private balcony. Great for couples getaway or even multiple couples as there are excess cutlery in the room"
