Prior to arrival, guests may call Reception to request a room on the ground floor, especially if they have lots of luggage, mobility issues, and staying more than one night. For the most part, we honour these requests subject to availability. When you find a problem with your hot water, please call the after-hours number immediately to enable us to assist you with this matter so that you may have a comfortable rest of your stay. The after-hours number is located on the door at reception as well as on the back of the Hotel map. As you booked through a third party, I am uncertain what the VIP access entails and apologise that it is not the experience that you expected. All our room types are standard room types and we do not have special suites or rooms with ocean views. On a positive note, we are in the process of refurbishing the apartments to reflect a more modern aesthetic and hope that you would return to give us a chance to improve this underwhelming experience. Furthermore, I would like to apologise that you could not reach the duty manager. We were inundated with calls from guests that morning and apologise for missing yours. Our after-hours managers are always available at all hours to deal with these matters and action them immediately. Please know that your situation was an exception as a main waterpipe had burst not far from the property and affected everyone within a 10km radius. Watercorp worked tirelessly to fix the issue and a few hours later water to the property was restored. We do hope to welcome you back to Hotel to offer you a comfortable stay and our best services.
