"I booked this property 6 months in advance after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews. My wife and I couldn't believe it when we arrived from Heraklion and drove thru the seaside town of Georgioplous and then up the hillside to Alkion Apartments. It was amazing! We were greeted with a warm welcome and fresh hand squeezed OJ a frappe and homemade cakes. "Loved the waterpark esp for our son. Also the buffet for dinner was excellent, though the a la carte restaurants not so much. The room was spacious and clean with no carpet on the floor. Staff were excellent too, professional but friendly. The only thing missing was a bidet in the bathroom."

"The Romantica Hotel lived up to its requirements as set out on the web site. It was possible better in real life than on the website. Voula, the manager was very attentive and extremely helpful. "By far one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Pros: Location to the beautiful beach. We had a room with a great view of the water which is located just a 2 minute walk away. All meals are provided in a buffet style setting and provide a large amount of options. Cons: Everything other thing imaginable.
