Very friendly staff,good food. The only negative comment was regarding the toilet seat in the bathroom being not installed correctly. The seat sat back from the toilet bowl, causing the guests to partially sit on the exposed bowl.

The room was as expected, the staff when signing in where nice but we arrived late around 9:30 pm as we just got of the Spirit of Tasmania and to register you had to go into the gaming area and the clientele were obnoxious, aggressive and were swearing terrible profanities and did not make me feel safe

Staff was lovely. We found the curtains didn’t shut out lights outside. Beds arent great and room was noisy in that we could hear conversations next door and outside. A great place to stay if youre drunk and need somewhere to pass out for the night.

Absolutely amazing staff, my little girl and I are on our way to Tasmania on the boat and we are aloud to check out late. ( no issues) Really suggest this hotel for anyone travelling, amazing buffet ( lunch & dinner) with a discount on staying with nightcap!

The property was clean and tidy the only downfall and this is just a personal one for me was i needed a fan because it was soooo quiet lol at home we sleep with the fan noise. But other than that it was excellent

Initially had a great stay, and thought staff were great until we made the mistake of leaving an item behind which we notified them immediately of. However it’s now been weeks of no responses to emails or us calling asking what’s happening and being run around even after providing the ability to pay for the item to be returned to us. Very disappointed as it ruined what was a good stay.

Don’t be fooled by the slick room photos, they are the only thing that’s seen any upgrades since the 70s. This is an old motel that has had some room refurbishment done and not much else. The exterior is your typical 70s trucker motel and you’ll be woken by the trucks on the highway. The main building does not have a bar area really, pokies and a TAB as well as the buffet area. The buffet is $35 per person and the food is comparable to what you’d find in a Westfield food court, definitely not worth the price. The staff were either friendly and new at the job or impolite and scowling. Definitely avoid especially for the price of the room.

This would be something you would have to personally take up with the online agent. I sincereley apologise you felt you were scammed, Nightcap has multiple online agents they use and we are essentially only the provider of the accommodation. Orbitz is the booking agent.
