Lovely stay at Montebelli Agriturismo!
We had a very nice stay at Montebelli Agriturismo. We came to attend a wedding at another property so we did not have as much time to spend there as we would have liked. The pool area was beautiful, as well as the grounds. The front staff was extremely helpful , and provided directions to the wedding for us. The restaurant staff also provided us w snacks when we arrived-I am just sorry we did not have more time to enjoy this lovely property!

This hotel was a serious joke. The first thing is their rooms in the old part are straight out of a horror movie. We paid more, switched for AC as the other has none and let me tell you. That room was good. No complaints but the "BBQ" feast was the worst food and service I have ever had. The images here are very deceiving and the service was terrible. How do you overcook sausage and ignore guests nonstop. The property has such potential but they have failed tremendously. Dirty, rude, and even when I shared our experience upon checkout, they did not care. Told me "oh" . The BBQ is 40 euro each. Biggest waste. Hop in your car go into town and get true authentic food for 1/3 and its actually edible. The one server was annoyed if you looked her way for help or possibly a drink? So not what the images show and I think expedia should pull them off asap

Absolutely amazing
We absolutely loved our stay, the wine was delicious, the grounds are spectacular, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are amazing - particularly the spa and the breakfast buffet. We had such a relaxing time and were lucky enough to join in the end of harvest party where we participated in a grape pressing ceremony followed by an outdoor bbq and party surrounded by the vineyards. It was everything I had dreamt Tuscany would be and more. Definitely recommend Montebelli to anyone. The location is fairly rural but once you arrive, you have everything you need so don't need to leave.

The hotel is a little out of the way near the very small village of Caldana. The pool is fine, but not great. The restraint that served a buffet the first night with meats grilled on a wood fire (a nice Touch) . We actually drove a short distance to Caldana for a meal on the second night and found the little village quite lively and welcoming. When we got back the hotel had a guest violinist playing some beautiful music that helped us get a good night's sleep.

Highly recomend this hotel to anyone looking to experience a relaxed country atmosphere. Owner Alessandro was more then helpful throughout our stay. Hotel is located next to his vinyard and stables which we were free to visit. Great place for couples or familys.

Nice relaxing stay
Stayed three nights. Nice place in lovely setting. It is countryside away from everywhere so having a car is a must. Not many eating options nearby. We had a car so drove to Follonica (half hour). There is a restaurant on site which we didn't try.

Rooms and bathrooms excellent but full of mosquitoes even though we never opened the patio door except to close the shutters- plug in mosquito killer in every room would be a good idea. Unexpected 4 euro charge for a clean bathrobe as our untidy teens had left one on the floor- this was not anywhere in the info . Parts of the road terrible- need to address this as almost bottomed the car on a couple of occasions . Not enough sun loungers at the pool. Tennis court good fun. Labyrinth advertised as being an area for peaceful contemplation but overgrown and looked uncared for. Food was very good, a la carte better value than set menus, confusion amongst the staff about whether our 13 year old should be charged adult or child price. On the first night we were told child price ( which is what we were charged) but subsequent meals we were charged adult price (30 euro rather than 10 so a big difference).

Wonderful resort and location.
If after the hassel and bussel of large cities you require a quiet place to recharge, Montebelli will fulfill this purpose. Located in a beautiful countryside, with two pools and plenty of opportunities for relaxing and hiking, but close enough to the sea and other sights, this is a perfect place to slow down and smell the linden (beautiful trees and fragrance bushes in the premises)

Pleasant for 1 night but aimed at longer stays
Montebelli is a sprawling complex geared for family vacations. It offers a pleasant, shaded pool, horseback riding, lots of footpaths, and its own vineyard and olive groves. The guests form a fluid community from several European nations and on the occasion of our overnight stay seemed to be enjoying one another's company. The restaurant didn't offer its normal menu on that particular evening but instead served a sumptuous outdoor grille buffet. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating.

Had been there in the past and it was a wonderful
Not a very good experience. I felt contrary a great deal of the time as it was like a kids camp. Not a good time to visit Italy when Italian families have their children More like a summer camp. did not realiize a four star would not have air conditioners in our room but they did bring an extra fan. We really felt like imposters.

We had a great stay with feeling at home due to the owner Alessandro and his team. They all gave a personal touch and made you feel welcome and no effort is too much. The hotel is an amazing oase in the Tuscany country side set up in a way you're forgetting you're in a hotel. The food is top with a chef who uses the fresh ingredients in a terrific way so we where never bothered to go out elsewhere for dinner. Twice a week BBQ, meat/fish, and an excellent wine from the estate. Wouldn't know what else to wish for. Agna and Ruud

Bellissimo hotel immerso nel verde e buona cucina al ristorante. Camera spaziosa ma senza aria condizionata e senza frigo bar. Le stanze non deluxe sono sopra il ristorante e al mattino presto inizia il rumore degli abitanti delle case vicine e la preparazione per la colazione, quindi scordatevi una bella dormita fino a tardi! Bella piscina un po’ sovraffollata nel weekend poiché accettano anche ospiti giornalieri e non solo chi dorme in hotel.

La struttura è situata in mezzo al verde, con giardini molto curati. La strada di accesso è un po' sconnessa e scomoda. Camera ampia ma bisognosa di alcuni interventi di ristrutturazione. Da un agriturismo/hotel 4 stelle ci si aspetterebbe una colazione più ricca e variegata.

Ci ha deluso. Abbiamo acquistato una camera economy dell’ hotel 4 stelle conutry lusso ma in realtà se non state attenti ( come abbiamo fatto noi ) le camere dell’ hotel sono una cosa, le camere economy sono invece in una dependance, di fianco al ristorante , senza aria condizionata ne frigobar…e’ vero che dovevamo leggere bene la conferma della camera , ma dalla indicazione 4 stelle lusso ci aspettiamo di fatto alcune condizioni minime di confort

Bellissima struttura, molto ampia immersa nel verde, le stanze sono inserite in edifici al piano, assolutamente contestualizzate nel verde che le circonda. Nonostante la stagione fredda la sistemazione è stata calda ed accogliente. Ottima anche la cena presso il ristorante presente in loco. Non abbiamo potuto usufruire della spa per motividi tempo, ma sembrava assolutamente da fare. Consigliatissimo

Immerso nella campagna
20 minuti di auto dalla costa (Punta Ala), situato in collina e circondato da vigneti e ulivi di proprietà dell agriturismo. Camere ricavate in simil villette a due piani, distanziate tra loro e circondate dal prato. Camere molto ampie, con parquet, antibagno con comodo spazio armadio, bagno ampio con vasca doccia e doppio lavabo. Pulizia in generale ottima. Ristorante in villetta distaccata dalla zona camere, rustico ma molto piacevole. Sia colazione che cena abbondanti e molto buone. Rivendita di vini bio di produzione propria. Cani taglia media ammessi. personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Wir waren da für eine Nacht. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und alles war tiptop. Einzig das Bett war uns zu hart. Aber dass ist Geschmacksache.

Da provare!! La vera Toscana !!!
Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti in questa struttura. Veramente bella e molto curata. Indicata per chi cerca relax e contatto con la natura. Abbiamo visto anche uno scoiattolo aggirarsi allegramente per gli alberi del grande parco!! La piscina è bella e tranquilla. La spa un sogno...con piscina idromassaggio, sauna e bagno turco, senza alcun sovrapprezzo e la possibilità di bere una tisana in assoluta tranquillità.Il personale molto gentile e discreto. La colazione ....un vero paradiso per i golosi...tanti tipi di dolci e dolcetti...l'angolo del saluto con vere golosità toscane (consiglio di assaggiare il loro olio) e tanta frutta fresca!! La nostra stanza era molto grande e la finestra era incorniciata con la vista di un grande olivo !! Il set bagnoschiuma , shampoo, crema per il corpo e saponetta all'olio d'oliva che troverete in bagno sarà una vera coccola per il vostro corpo.Noi abbiamo soggiornato in agriturismo più adatto per gli amanti della natura, ma ci sono anche le camere all'interno del country hotel . Per quanto riguarda la posizione ci vogliono circa 30 minuti di macchina per arrivare al mare (noi andavamo a "Torre Mozza" ). L'ultima informazione riguarda la silenziosità delle camere...solo il "cinguettio" degli uccellini a darvi il buongiorno !!! Insomma...un'esperienza da provare !!!
