Since it is a little distance away from a city center, the hotel offers very quiet environment. The hotel is on a top of a cliff that offers great view and has a great buffet restaurant with tasty dishes and very reasonable price.

A very good view. We had the partial lake view. I like the towel and bathrobe. The service of the front office are commendable. Specifically, when they let me use the business center for my online meeting. As a hospitality professor, they are very professional. However, not that sound proof. We heard the banging of the door from other rooms. Great staycation!

늦은 휴가 다녀왔습니다. 항상 갈 때마다 애들과 놀 것도 많고 경치도 깡패고, 도보로 올라갈 때 빼고는 흠 잡을데가 없습니다. 스카이라운지 카페 쥬스 가격 제외하면 전반적으로 큰 불만 없습니다.

Location-wise, the hotel has great ocean view. Their spa was great as well. The room was spacious and clean but too few furnitures feeling like empty space. It was a bit inconvenient with two few usable power outlets for charging electronics. Reception staff was fast and efficient but in hurry to wrap up the reception. These made me uncomfortable to continue my questions. To note, the lobby was very bright and spacious but somewhat stinky like sewage smells that I still don’t know what it was. This place will be more attentive if they pay attention in a bit of details. Their sunrise view at rooftop garden was really amazing.

Terrible staff and service.
성수기라서 이그제큐티브 룸 2박에 백만원 조금 넘게 지불하고 예약했습니다. 호텔즈닷컴 8년 넘게 사용하고, 여행도 많이 다닙니다. 사이트에서 더블베드 2개있고, 어린이 3인 어른 2인 숙박 가능한 거 확인하고 예약완료했습니다. 체크인하는데 직원분이 다짜고짜 4인이상 숙박 불가라고 해서 당황했습니다. 사이트 확인하고 예약했다고 했더니 그럴리가 없다고 사이트 보여달라고 해서, 보여줬더니 이건 사이트에서 맘대로 올린거고 호텔에서는 이런 문구를 넣었을리가 없다고 하더군요. 사이트랑 호텔이 어떻게 홍보를 하건 간에 일단 나는 비용 지불하고 예약했는데, 이게 무슨 일이냐고 했더니 한참 있다가 “4만원 추가비용 내세요” 라고 하더라고요. 제대로 된 호텔이었으면,”잠시만 기다려 주세요.”라고 하고 사이트 찾아보고 초과인원 매뉴얼 확인한 다음에 “1인 초과시 1박 당 2만원 추가 비용이 있습니다. 체크인 해 드릴까요?” 라고 했을거고, 4만원 내고 끝났을텐데, 숙박 불가라고하다가 사이트 찾아서 보여달라고 하다가, 호텔에서 절대 그런 문구 안 쓴다고 이건 호텔스닷컴에서 잘못한 거라고 하다가 마지막에 추가 비용 내라고… 고객응대 과정이 호텔이라고 하기에는 너무 저급하네요. 객실도 오래되서 들떠있는 바닥재에 욕실 물때, 저렴한 마감재. 무엇보다 그 직원분 한 사람 때문에 다시는 여기 갈일이 없을 듯 합니다. 호텔 서비스업에도 종사해 본 적이 있어서 웬만하면 감사히 지내다 오는데, 여기는 정말 기본도 안 되어있는 곳이어서 리뷰 남깁니다. 최악이에요.

I was expecting full ocean view as I have selected the most expensive room (choice) but the actual room was half ocean and half mountain, which was very disappointing. Room itself was very clean but even the buffet (pricey) breakfast was served at banquet hall (as opposed to restaurant). I’d choose another hotel next time for the price I paid for this trip.

Nice place to stay in a beautiful area of Korea. We did not use the facilities of the hotel so I cannot comment on those. Indoor parking is limited but there is plenty of outside parking available. New Year's Eve price was over the top expensive and not worth the price in my opinion.

Great stay for family
Place seems new and well managed. Clean and employees are nice and kind. We had a family trip and it was a blast. Our 4 yo daughter did not want to leave the room. You get to see the sunrise and ocean view is just way too beautiful. Breakfast and Dinner buffet or bit expensive but definitely worth it. Hot spring is awesome, too.

We came around 10 pm on a Friday night to find out that all restaurants were closed and there was no room service available because it closes at 9:30pm. The hotel is located in an awkward place, far from any available convenience stores and/or restaurants.

강릉이 고향인 지인 추천으로 알게되어 예약하고 갔습니다 주변의 인프라는 다소 빈약했으나 호텔내에서 2박3일은 보낼 만한 꽤나 괜찮은 숙소였습니다 쉼을 찾아온 투숙객이라면 매우 만족할듯합니다^^ 청결하고 룸이 생각보다 크고 탁트여서 좋았구요, 무엇보다 조식이 맛있었는데..특히 창가뷰는 일출명소였구요, 목적이었던 온천과 수영장은 규모가 살짝 아쉬웠지만 나름 만족했습니다 제가 묵었던 구정 땐 가족투숙객들이 많았는데 저도 다음엔 부모님 모시고 오고 싶더라구요 잘 쉬었다갑니다

강릉 탑스텐 호텐은 청결은 굿 👍 높은 층 + 온천 호텔이라 그런지 수압이 약해서 답답했음 공청기가 없어서 조금 아쉬웠고 화장실 환풍이 잘 되는지는 모르겠음 조식은 매우 다양해서 좋고 설날이라 떡국,한식,떡,유과,약과 등도 나와서 더 좋았고 감자떡, 한과는 무척 맛있었음 감사합니다 😄 그런데 스프,감자,만두,커피, 등이 맛이 좀 아쉬웠음 그리고, 2박인데 두루마리휴지 를 1박때 주신거 그대로 였고 추가를 주시지 않아서 휴지가 부족했습니다 4인방 예약했는데 슬리퍼가 부족해서 라운지에 요청해야했고 조식체크 매니저님이 좀 불친절 한 느낌을 받았고 수영장은 전신타올 및 작은타올도 안주셔서 너무 추웠습니다 하지만 시설은 정말 좋았고 뷰도 너무너무 좋고 라운지는 너무 고급스러웠고 조식 먹으며 일출을 볼수있는 일출맛집 이었습니다 정말 잘 지냈 습니다 다시 한번 더 감사드립니다

가족여행 또는 워크샵에 적극 추천합니다.
일전에 출장 차 방문 후 만족도가 높아 가족과 함께 다시 방문하였습니다. 일출을 보기에 더없이 좋은 장소입니다. 가족과 온천을 즐기며 여유 있는 시간을 보낼 수 있어 너무 즐거웠습니다. 다만 조식 종류가 다양하지 않아 아쉬웠고, 전반적으로 스프나 죽 종류의 맛이 매우 부족했습니다.
