Lovely hotel in Galway. Bus stop right outside the property. Enjoyed the restaurant. Property is well maintained. Rooms are not air conditioned but a fan is provided so it wasn’t uncomfortable for early May.

Really nice place to stay and staff very friendly. Staying just the one night on business. Would stay again. Only negatives would be shower area needed a bit of TLC and no honey available at breakfast.

With a new addition added to the front of the hotel, one would be led to believe this were a new fully modern hotel. However, while that was the case for the lobby and dining areas, the rooms were in the older part of the hotel and left something to be desired. While clean and remodeled, the rooms just didn't live up to the impression you get looking at the hotel from the outside. The location is also less than ideal being located on what has to be the busiest intersection in all of Ireland. Coming and going was an excersize in extreme patience. However, it is only a short drive to the heart of Galway which is wonderful.

We are truly not trying to mislead our guests and we are upset to think that this was your impression. We are also disappointed to note that you did not feel the room matched the standard of the rest of the hotel. While ,in fact, not one of the newly redecorated rooms, we are still proud to be able to allocate these rooms and we take heart from the fact that you did think it was a new room which would indicate it is still at a very fresh standard, albeit not to your taste. Fantastic hotel in a quieter part of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. My stay included free breakfast and it was delicious with plenty of options. Room was quite large with all the necessities including a mini fridge. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff and service were great. Very professional feel. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the stay. The only suggestion I have is to install the curves shower curtain rods in the bathrooms.

We had lost our cell phone in a taxi. The staff went above and beyond to assist us in retrieving it. There was an issue at check in that they quickly adddressed and were so gracious. Absolutely loved our stay!

Wonderful service/hope reno will be done soon.
The staffs are very helpful. The front desk girl helped me with bus schedule, provided information for the area. The next day, the restaurant staffs are very helpful to by providing takeout box for me since I need to leave early and have no time to have breakfast by sitting down. My only complaint is that they are doing renovations and I can smell the construction/reno material in my room and some common areas. Also, only shower no bathtub which is not my preference.

The hotel is undergoing renovation which is not mentioned when you book. I booked for two nights due to a conference. My room key didn’t work on several occasions, room was not serviced and the tv didn’t work. Very disappointing stay. Breakfast is good

I thought the Metro Park was fantastic: beautiful spaces, terrific, friendly, personable staff, great room, fantastic breakfast, just a lovely quiet friendly elegant ambience throughout. Every single staff member I had contact with was excellent. I asked for a quiet room and I got a genuinely quiet room. Amazing value. The location of the hotel is a bit challenging if you don't have a car. It's about a 25 minute walk to Galway city centre, which isn't far, but it's not a pedestrian-friendly walk, as the route is really designed for vehicles. There is a footpath of course, and a bus. However, during my two-day stay there was a lot of frost and I didn't actually walk as I usually would. I got a taxi very easily both days.

Our room faced the rear parking lot. Each day we were awakened early by loud trucks in the lot. The food was very good and the hotel is located within a short distance to downtown.

Dear Vincent, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your overall stay with us thought we do apologise for the noise disruption you experienced. We have a system in place for our deliveries that works well but unfortunately, the storm that happened at that time meant that the deliveries were disrupted and saw different drivers than the usual ones on our route and they had not been informed of this system by their companies.
