Smoking rooms a no go…
I reserved nonsmoking but when I checked in they were out. The smoking room smelled terrible and everything I am wearing today smells terrible. It’s the first time in decades I have showed up to perform and not been professional.

The front desk staff for check-in was very friendly and welcoming. I was apprehensive about Studio 6 so I asked if I could see the room prior to paying. The room was OK. Nice little kitchenette in room. Bathtub was very disgusting looking, presumably clean but just dirty looking because of its age. Sheet clean looking but I immediately took off bed cover as it had many stains on it. Due to it being game weekend ALL hotels in Gainesville were $250 per night, so to pay just over $100 for short 8 hrs sleep before checking out, it suited out needs.

Very quiet location. The beds were very comfortable. It could have been cleaner. there was a used coffee filter in the coffee pot, and the floors could have used a mop. It was a nonsmoking room but the bathtub had several burnt spots and did not look clean.

Grossest Stay of My Life
Utterly filthy. The floor was covered in a film, the bathroom had large splatters of what I can only assume was blood, the shower was very rusty and broken, the TV remote did not work. Without reservation the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in and if my check-in had not been so late, I would have left.

What a terrible place. First room we got wasn't even cleaned. Beds were dirty, food left in the fridge, old coffee still in the pot. Shower was dirty with soap scum. I went to the front desk, the guy did end up giving us another room. The second room was ok, bathroom a bit dirty, holes in the walls,but we manage. Air conditioning broke. The refrigerator sounded like it was going to explode. Outside was dirty. Not managed or cleaned. Pool was disgusting with black slim all over the bottom and a nasty film across the top of it. Wasn't usable. Wouldn't recommend anyone here. They should be ashamed of their self.

Hotel was okay.
The staff was amazing! Inside of the hotel was better than excepted. The only negative things about it were the air condition didn’t really work well until the 2nd night. The pillows were frail and there was no security guard bolt.

Barely supplied no clean towels for the second night. Door locks were broken there was a gap under door that was large enough for a large rat or small gator to have crawled in under. Also the door handle came off in our hand when we tried to open door to exit. The security latch was almost off its hinge with the screw s coming out! The bed was lower on at the head so sleeping was an issue! The place needs an upgrade bad! Portions of the exterior were poorly lit, and parking lot lights were not working either

Hotel Misrepresents Itself
I booked the hotel as I need a place to stay post Idalia hurricane. The site represented it had a Kitchenette and cloths washing facilities. I learned that the hotel did not have cloth washing facilitates for years and Kitchenette meant only empty cabinets and a refrigerator - there was not even a sink nor a dish!

The staff is amazing. Very professional and courteous. Margaret the manager keeps this place clean of drama and trouble. Tonya is very professional and customer satisfaction is her number one concern. Patrick is very customer oriented he is patient and informative. The house Keeprrs are great but they need to learn that how to let someone answer the door before they just open the door and try to come on the room
