Breakfast choices and.service were very good with fabulous fruit every day and tasty fresh egg dishes. Didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening. So convenient for all sights, dining and shopping. Would definitely visit again. "

"Lovely clean and quiet hotel. Staff were superb, went as far as chasing my wife and I down to give a free chocolate cake for her birthday. Breakfast was fabulous and plenty of choice. Biggest bed I have ever slept on and the room is spacious, clean and modern. Highly recommended hotel"

"Our AC wasn't working as it should. It was just too hot in our room. Would be nice to have more times available for our shuttle bus since it's a bit far from city center. First shuttle bus it too late and later at night there is none. Parking is also limited. The staff is just wonderful. "

No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "
